The Tudor House Hotel, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

The Tudor House Hotel, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

"We really enjoyed our overnight stop at the Tudor House Hotel, we were given room 109 also known as the Henry VIII room and it was decorated accordingly, but its not for people much over 1.8m tall. We enjoyed the bar and restaurant, the drinks were good and any venue that chooses Ketel One vodka as its house standard is fine by us and the Canyon ale was a really good pint, our dinner was well presented and good quality, we were fortunate enough to have good weather and enjoyed the table at the bottom of the garden overlooking open fields and the river \ canal as the sun went down. If we pass through again we would definitely check out the Tudor House again"

The Malvern - (Adults Only)

The Malvern - (Adults Only)

8/10 Good
"I actually enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We had a classic double room and it was bigger than it looked in the photos. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed (hot drinks, Elemis shampoo, body wash). Some slight wear and tear on the furniture (warped side tables and desk) which is easily fixed and will make the room near perfect. The only issue we did have was this thinness of the walls and ceilings. We were woken by people walking in their room above us and could hear people using their toilet in the room next door/above. The breakfast was amazing. Lovely staff and quick ordering/service. Delicious coffee! Lots of nice options from the continental and the made to order breakfast. We did use the spa facilities but didn't have much time due to the nature of our stay. Nice and clean, warm pool. Robes and flip flops provided. We didn't have any treatments. I would stay here again!"

Stourport Manor Hotel

Stourport Manor Hotel

8/10 Good
"Nice independent run hotel at about the level of a Holiday Inn. Rooms are an adequate size for two to share. Some of the exterior is it showing its age around the back facing on to the sports facilities which are apparently not maintained to a level to currently in use. Restaurant evening menu and bar have a wide selection of options, and the morning breakfast buffet has a good wide selection. There is also a range of good restaurants and pubs within a short distance if you don't want to use the on-site offering. Would I stay again? Yes."

"Very helpful smartly dressed staff. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Rooms large with bath, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. Very large bed. Parking was busy but free. The hotel is having some renovations so no lift at the moment. I wish them well with what they are doing."
