"Really easy to find, you have masses of parking available to you, and the bed was really comfy. The lake view is a huge bonus too - it was gorgeous to wake up to and not what you normally get view wise for a budget motorway services hotel haha. Nice hot shower, clean bedding and towels, and everything worked and functioned as expected. Would definitely stay again"

"Upon arrival the staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was clean and tidy, not too hot (which is unusual for a hotel room). Breakfast was good - full English. "It was an amazing experience to be in a real castle we chose a cheaper room so we didn’t have an en-suite but a beautiful bathroom in the corridor instead. The owners were so helpful and friendly and we had a very good quality evening meal with beautiful romantic piano music played by the manager and a history talk too. The owner was a beautiful lady who chatted to us in the bar area. We’d like to go again. Breakfast was good."

"It was a good place for my American visitors to spend their first night in the UK. A traditional pub in a very attractive town. Dinner and breakfast were good. We found the parking area at the back of Morrisons. A bit tight but after some back and forth I managed to wedge the car in and didn't block anyone else."
