"everything was fine although the interior is a little dated. however the stay was completely let down because the actual mattress was SO uncomfortable I could barely sleep. think "wire sticking into your back" no matter where you try and position yourself on it. get those replaced and you've got a lovely hotel with very nice staff."

"Long wait for check in and then seemed to take ages to check in. We had booked 2 rooms, when we got to one of the rooms it was dirty, empty wine bottle and food wrappers, towels on the floor, not a great start at the end of the day. The service in the bar was extremely slow, there was one barman that had only been there 1 week that had been left on his own to do the bar and take all the food orders. Breakfast was also the same not enough staff, poor service, we wait had to wait ages for all the food to be replenished. And they overcharged me and didn’t apologise when they realised their mistake. Very disappointed ☹️"

"Front of house staff were friendly and quick to fix room error. Room was spacious bed was comfortable bathroom was neat and tidy and clean. Both tvs working well kitchenette and dinning space worked well good size table, sofa was comfortable. Well maintained room and slept well. The hotel is a little dated only issue is the lift felt dated and unsafe."
