We received no information on how to check in until I called after having to hunt down the phone number because the one on hotels.com was disconnected and got the code to enter the house less than 24 hours prior to our arrival. Requested parking and received no information about parking had to find our own parking once we arrived. Sent multiple messages on the hotels'com website but never received response. Apartment is a nice sized space and could be wonderful but has seen better days - hole in the sofa, all of the furniture is stained, looks dirty, plaster peeling on the walls, parts of the floor are soft and the beams underneath need to be replaced. There were plenty of mosquitos and other small bugs infesting the tub and sink. I know the ad says rustic - i would say in dis-repair.
We woke up the next morning to no hot water which was fixed by the afternoon. We woke up Sunday morning and breakfast was not ready until 0900 and the internet was out. When we came back from our tour Sunday afternoon at 1400, breakfast items were still on the table including the milk for cereal and for coffee. Monday morning there was no breakfast at all - we waited until 9 when we had to leave to travel back home. Rooms left dirty from guests who had left the day prior. Not child friendly - on 3rd floor with low windows and no bars or screens. Great location close to everything. External picture shown is of private residence and not the B&B which is misleading.
Ihana ja tunnelmallinen vanha rakennus. Yläkerran asunnossa hyvin tilaa ja kiva keittiö. Kaksi yötä kahden lapsen kanssa. Olisimme viihtyneet kauemminkin!
A huge and charming room in a lovely old building. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast and help from the staff was very welcoming. We can very much recommend this B&B.
Lovely, proper Belgium property, that has been a family house for over 200 hundred years. It has undergone a sensitive make over to allow half the House to be used as a B&B.
Our room was big, wooden floor boards, shutters comfortable beds with a seperate sizeable shower / toilet. I loved it.
Our host was friendly and helpful with a continental style breakfast provided every morning in a big period style living / dining area. The front of the house (inside) was a little dark, the back was where all the light and colour was.
If you want to experience how the wealthy of past days lived, this is a place to book 😊
We really enjoyed ourselves and our first stay in Bruges. The hotel has an old-world vibe to it, and has been preserved well. Breakfast was great and the staff/owners are helpful and friendly, ready to give good advice for the city. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Large room with plenty of space. On reasonably quiet street. Very accessible to main square and other sites. Breakfast was minimal and breakfast room cold.
We will stay here every time we are in Brugge even if w have to Chang our trip dates for availability. Wonderful people. Perfect location and great “feel”..Don’t expect five star glitz. Just history and cleanliness and class and comfort. Can’t go wrong.
We didn't know we should get in the door with code and we did't get the code so we waited outside until someone living next door opened the door for us. In addition, the condition of the old property was not good. Besides, we've got so many mosquito bites. Breakfast lacked variety, too.

Historical setting in Bruges
Great historical character, accommodating host, perfect location for exploring Bruges. Only complaint
was the lack of hot water, and the number of stairs might be difficult for some. We loved it though. So
much better than a sterile, modern hotel. Good breakfast. I would like to see a curtain added on the window in the door separating bathroom & bedroom. (blue stripe room)
Prachtig oud herenhuis. Zeer ruime appartementen met alle voorzieningen. Goede locatie. Lekker ontbijt. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Voor mijn smaak waren de bedden wat hard en aan de korte kant (ik ben 2,20 m lang gewend).

Property is old and very quaint. Floors are very rough and uneven, which was fine for us it could be an issue for some. Well located. Generally quiet neighborhood, which meant when someone was loud outside you really heard it.
It was hot when we visited and the beds have only heavy comforters on them, which made sleeping hard. As with most places in Europe there were no screens on the windows and we got eaten alive by mosquitos. A fan in each of the bedrooms and the living room would have been nice. Our apartment had a kitchen but it’s not well stocked - not even coffee for the coffee pot. The bathroom was off the kitchen, a separate toilet and then sink and shower - both spaces were quite small. There were only 2 hand towels for 4 people and the shower didn’t function well - the hand held shower head kept falling off.
There was a decent binder for the town and the breakfast was Contintenal but had choices. We also didn’t hear other guest except when they walked right by our door.
Our stay in Bruges was everything we had hoped. Taking Rick Steves’s advice, we booked two nights, giving us a full day to explore the city. La Maison Zenasni was conveniently located, yet on a quiet street. The bonus was being near the Belgian Pigeon House, one of the best restaurants we have ever enjoyed in Europe.
