We arrived late at night with two small children and we shocked to find the beds had not been made up and all the linen including towels were left in a heap on one of the beds. The room was very stark with horrible industrial style box iron construction beds with very dangerous corners for small children. Due to the lack of soft furnishings the room was noisy and the noise from the corridor outside was very intrusive in the room. Breakfast was a very unpleasant experience. The quality and variety of the food was poor. The breakfast was not only self service buffet style but was also self clear as well with the staff being very pedantic in the way you had to clear the plates and cutlery placing them in specific places in a designated area with no clear instructions but being very rude in the way they "policed" the station. This hotel and the overall experience was the worst short stay I have ever had despite many years of travelling both for professional reasons and social reasons.

Had they seen you, they certainly would have cleared any used plates from your preferred table. Ok place to stay
Nice hotel, situated in a quiet side street off the main ring road. 5min walk to T'Zand and about 7mins from the free parking area. Free parking is used by everyone and spaces are limited. It took a while driving up and down and we're just about to admit defeat when a space became available. No lift at hotel. Check-in we were told was self service but on arrival reception was open. All fairly straightforward. Room we were given was spacious. However it was tired. Tiles were broken on the bathroom floor, these are dangerous, almost cut my foot on them and we could not close the bathroom door because it caught on the broken tile. The mirror glass in the hall had a crack in it. The toilet did not smell particularly nice. The duvet had stains on it. No hand soap provided on the separate toilet or main bathroom. Good blackout curtains. Quiet room. Bed was exceptionally soft, 2 pillow choices, plenty of space to stow clothes and luggage. Netflix was available. Breakfast included two cereal choices, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, natural yoghurt, orange juice and a selection of rolls and pastries. No provision for gluten, dairy or lactose intolerance. Drinks came from a machine and it tasted of whatever drink was selected before. Teabags had run out, asked for more and was given after a bit of a search the last teabag in the hotel. Overall, for the price, location and compared to other places we've stayed in Bruges we would consider staying here again.

Just outside the busy area, provided instructions to free parking close by that was walkable actually once we park the car we really never moved it walked everywhere in town. The property itself was nice well kept.

So it said secure onsite parking. There was no onsight parking and i showed very nice receptionist, he took a picture of my screen. This was the reason we chose this hotel. He did allow us to put our expensivebikes in the room (thank you) before taking our car to the free parking half a mile away and needless to say this was on the street. The room was big, but very dark and with very thin doors, which as it was opposite reception was not great in the morning.the situation of the hotel, especially if you don't have a car, is great. Easy ealking/cycling to all areas.

Family weekend away.
lovely friendly and very helpful staff. 4-person room was ideal for our family with really comfortable beds, Larger than average tv. Separate toilet and shower ensuite which really suited our needs. Continental breakfast was fresh and well stocked. Location to town is perfect. Overall, a really good hotel.

Pleasant hotel but room was too warm.
The hotel was in a nice area near to the canal path and short walk to the main city area. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the staff ensured it was stocked throughout. Breads, cheese, meats, cereals and hot croissants. The bedroom was clean and the bathroom modern. The main problem was the heat, we were on the second floor and we could feel the heat rising each time we climbed the stairs. The rooms was extremely warm and we struggled to sleep. There was an electric fan in the room but it just wasn’t enough, air con is needed In this hotel.

Lovely and good walking distance to brugge.
Lovely place xlose walking distance to Brugge. Parking was on a main road away from hotel. Breakfast was good. Room OK. Comfy bed.

Nice
Excellent location given the price. Check-in until 1700 seems a little limiting for a city centre hotel however the code access system works well. Parking is off-site and as frequently mentioned, a 7 minute walk away. However, absolutely fine and really not a negative at all. Room and bathroom did have a slight aroma but a bit of fresh air seemed to resolve the problem. Generally an excellent solution for a few nights in town.

Nice hotel in Bruges
Hotel location was good, no parking though but was recommended one five minutes away. Easy walk to town centre. Staff at reception gave us directions to everywhere we needed and highlighted on a map. He was very friendly and also did breakfast, more staff would have been useful to help with breakfast. Overall good place, little over priced but was middle of Bruges so should be expected

OK but there are better options
This is a 2* hotel so it's important not to compare it with anything above that. Location is a positive as it is a 5-10 min walk to the centre and it is on a quiet side street. Breakfast is included in the rate and while basic it is adequate. It is an old building with creaking wooden floors and you can sometimes hear your neighbours. The furniture inside the room is well worn and basic. The bathroom appears to have been renovated and is the only modern aspect. There are no towel rails in the bathroom which are very much needed. The shower gel sachets are not enough for 3 occupants and these were not replenished on the second night thus we had to use tiny soap bars to shower. When we arrived, only one towel had been provided for 3 guests. Luckily, the receptionist handed me the rest, but these should already be in the room. There is no fridge, nor is there a kettle, or tea and coffee making facilities, but this is to be expected in a 2* hotel. The television set had been stuck to the stand with black tape. It could potentially fall on someone's head one day. I found lots of thick dust in places and didn't feel confident that the pillows, bed linen and covers had been cleaned from previous guests. The whole place had a musty feel and it resembled a backpackers, albeit this was a step up from it. Would I stay here again? Not unless it was the cheapest option I could find.

Comfortable room - a bit of a walk to any activity
Comfortable small hotel. Down an alleyway. No signs of life when I first arrived around 9:30pm. I used the buzzer at the door and someone buzzed me in remotely. There was an envelope waiting for me at the desk with a key and instructions. A little further away from the city center than i realized. Walk would have been ok if not for the road construction that caused a detour my first night. Parked in the free roadside parking area about a half mile away my first night. Could not find a space the next afternoon and had to pay at the under ground lot a couple of blocks away. 8.70 euro for up to 24 hr. The only staff i met was Towland who was courteous and very helpful. I got the impression he was the only one there during the day and no one there at night. Room was old but clean. Bed was comfortable. Sink was on the opposite side of the bed from the bathroom. I would probably pay a bit more to get a more central hotel next time, but for what it is, it does it well.

Charming hotel a few steps away from the noise
Overall wonderful, the location is perfect - just outside of historic Bruges, so no loud revelers, but not so far that you can't easily go out to be one. The only complaint I could muster is that the bed was a bit too hard for me

Hidden gem in Bruges
This hotel is a hidden gem! Located in a small alley, it has beautiful open area for clients to dine in. The hotel staff is friendly and gave me a map of monuments and a discount card for museums and other attractions. He also showed me how to get into the city centre (which is only 5 minute walk away). The wifi is super fast. Coming out of the Bruges train station, turn left, it's approximately 20 minute walk to the hotel, be aware if you have large luggage. The room on the ground floor facing the alley is really noisy, and it has odd layout too... The wooden floor makes noises...everything else is great!

Wonderful Hotel in a Wonderful City
The hotel is very small and on a quiet street just outside the center of town. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station or a taxi costs 7 euros. Our room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was not included, but reasonable and delicious. The owner helped with our luggage to our room. He also gave us great advice on where to eat. This is important in Brugge as most places to eat are for tourists. I highly recommend the Montovani for your stay in Brugge.

A comfortable haven
The hotel is in a very quiet area a short distance from the constant hustle and bustle of central Bruge. It is a block from a lovely, riverside park. I found the hotel quiet. My room was spacious for a solo traveller and had a skylight with a simple device to close a shade at night. The bathtub (and shower) was perfect after a day of walking. I didn't choose to have breakfast in the hotel. The desk clerk was always helpful.

Room was a bit tired and shabby, although the ensuite was very nice with an excellent shower. Lacked attention to detail; no hair dryer, no tea/coffee facilities, no shower gel, very thin and course toilet paper, double bed with two single duvets. Simple buffet breakfast. Nice quiet location with short walk to the sights.

Hotel was close to the center and you could park your car about 300 m on the other side of the river. the staff were very helpful and spoke perfect English. the hotel is a small but has well kept facilities, good breakfast.
