"I had a great stay, but stayed in the Residence across the street from the main hotel, but it was fine very quite and in a great location of Brugge. Hotel is amazing a lovely property. I mentioned that the reception was very dusty on my arrival. I made a comment about it and noted nothing happened so the next day I pointed it out to the front office manager who took care of it straight away. First impression and all that. Thankfully the room was very clean and well maintained"

"Arrived late evening and the lady on reception was waiting for us. Showed us to our ground floor room, which was spacious and comfortable. The free breakfast was appreciated and all the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The Boterhuis is ideally situated, close to the Markt square and main tourist attractions. There was some noise from the street outside, but that's to be expected in a city. Overall, very satisfied with our stay"

"Everything was very nice but we were very disappointed with the bathroom which was very outdated. Small bath with a shower over but no shower curtain. The door was a wooden concertina door which didn’t open or close easily, quietly or completely. This spoilt an otherwise lovely place. The breakfast was ver good."

"We enjoyed staying in such a historic building - it's in a great location, walkable to the majoriry of attractions, and the "basic double room" was a good size. Only negatives are that the soundproofing wasn't great around our room and some areas were a little dustier than we would've liked. A pleasant stay overall."

"We received no information on how to check in until I called after having to hunt down the phone number because the one on hotels.com was disconnected and got the code to enter the house less than 24 hours prior to our arrival. Requested parking and received no information about parking had to find our own parking once we arrived. Sent multiple messages on the hotels'com website but never received response. Apartment is a nice sized space and could be wonderful but has seen better days - hole...

"Our first time in such a property. We should have planned ahead a bit better - i.e. took some basic groceries with us to avoid having to find a shop in the dark and rain. The property was fantastic - classy, cozy and spacious. The Tram was nearby. We ate at the Waterline and the Royal. Suggest visit to De Haan and Blanckenberg. "

"This is a bare bones room, felt safe, location is next to railway station, very clean. Only negative is the airflow was minimal; but we had two travel fans and that worked well. First night left window open for air, mosquitoes had a smorgasbord! Easy walk to town! Breakfast is 10 euros each, but is good deal for this area! Would book again."
