Great location, the gentleman at the front desk when we arrived was very helpful and a great young man. The property is currently under construction, which we knew, still was a great stay. The pool could have been cleaner but there are a lot of trees around that I think effect this. Parking was easy and overall was a nice stay.

However this location is under serious renovation and they don’t tell you that online. It was dirty and dusty due to the renovation. Overall the property is very dated and the renovation is welcome. The hotel is getting a complete renovation. It will be a very nice place when completed. If Their continental breakfast needs more options. Their housekeeper worked very hard when asked for service. Unfortunately only one person. The hotel location is ideal for walking to restaurants and beaches. Covered parking was a plus. It suited our needs.

The staff was wonderful! Robert made you feel like family. It was clean and a little outdated but they are under major renovations so next year it will be even better. The coffee was amazing and serve yourself any time of day with a machine that made lattes, cappuccinos, etc. Just a short walk to the beach and the pier village restaurants and shops. Very affordable.

Good location, easy covered parking. This is a tired older property currently being renovated. Looks better in the listing pictures than in reality. Worn out sheets and towels. No maid service on our second day of a two day stay. Rooms floors were filthy. Pictures shows a towel I used for a quick foot mop. “Island view” from our “balcony” was of a construction dumpster. Hopefully the property will improve after renovations.

The location was great, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. However, they were doing renovations and put us on that floor where men were working. It was messy, dusty, and noisy. It was uncomfortable walking through all of that to get to the room.

The Inn is under construction it looks like it will be a while before they will get done. So consider this when booking. We checked in Friday to Sunday and they were working on weekends up to about 6 pm you could hear the banging. Our room looked clean but it’s outdated. Nice location, close to the lighthouse and restaurants. Parking was tight under the building but plenty spots in front of the hotel.

They are in the middle of a renovation so it's noisy which is understandable. However, upon check in the room was dirty. I mean dirty. Hair in between the pillow and pillowcase. Mattress was stained and nasty. We had one of each towel in the room. The towels we did have were dirty. No kleenex, fridge was dirty, carts of trash left in the hall, and no parking. Staff is mostly unfriendly never looking up from their phones to greet you. No maintenance on staff or only on certain days. We had also booked a room with a balcony view. We got a view of a dumpster.The pool is nice but not maintained daily. It is close to the lighthouse, pier, and shopping square which is nice. Hopefully with the new renovation they will also obtain new leadership. However, with that said we will not return to find out. This property is very misrepresented on expedia.

Ocean Inn and Suites in St. Simon’s is a great place to stay. It’s clean, quiet, comfy beds and pillows. Room is large. It’s in a great location. Walk to restaurants, shops, pier, beach. It is going thru a major renovation now however our stay was fine. They don’t serve much for breakfast but the muffins are the best I’ve ever eaten. Parking is tight however you can park out on street.
