The most exquisite boutique hotel. High end from top to bottom. Customer service was incredible. Mario runs a beautiful B & B and has thought about everything a traveller could want or need. Rooms are gorgeous. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you we hope to return one day.

Mario was a superb host with great attention to detail. There was no problem when we arrived later than expected. We had to leave every morning before breakfast, but he got up early and made breakfast for us. The fresh baked croissants were delicious! Room was very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Conveniently located within walking distance to the central train station. Definitely would stay here again.

Great Comfort and Service
This is without doubt the nicest bed and breakfast establishment I've stayed in. From the warm welcome with an explanation of all Brussels has to offer, the comfortable room with quality toiletries to the hearty breakfast served in the morning our stay was perfect.

Super Mario. Fabulous B&B!!
Stayed here for 3 nights and wish it was longer. Absolutely stunning place to stay. Mario is the perfect host and really looks after his guests. On arrival he explains everything and gives you a map with everything useful pointed out on it. Recommendations for touring, eating and where to avoid!! Helped us with the metro back to the station instead of waiting for a taxi which was very useful. The rooms are large and immaculate with beautiful bedding and towels. There is a coffee machine with pods and teabags plus - MILK in the fridge. Amazing. You never get that anywhere. He also provides water and pop for free and replaces them daily. Biscuits also replaced daily. Nothing is too much for this lovely host. There is also a safe provided. Large bathroom with large shower, make up mirror, hairdryer and fluffy towels. Quality toiletries, the list just goes on. Breakfast is fresh and presented like a work of art on your plate. He is such a lovely man, I can't recommend him enough. He even gave me a plastic bottle of milk so I could have a drink when I got home. Who does that!!! Thank you so much Mario.

The stay here is wonderful--Mario is an excellent host, and the rooms are large and comfortable. The B&B is well located, with many transportation options close by as well as being a short walking distance from the Grand Place and other points of interest. I highly recommend this property.

Clean, comfortable room with no street noise. Mario extremely helpful, particularly with checking in and breakfast. Location a brisk walk from Grand Place/Bourse. Good beer bar around the corner. It's a B&B, not a hotel, which particularly in Brussels is a PLUS.

I couldn't love our stay at Art de Séjour more. Mario was a wonderful host who was more than happy to give us a lay of the land and point us to the best spots for experiencing local culture. The room was HUGE, modern, and very well kept. If or when we return to Brussels, we will be rebooking!

Everything at this site was spotless! The made to order breakfast was excellent! With special touches like a shot of smoothie and veg art on the plate. The host was friendly informative and caring! Location was perfect for the Christmas Markets and light displays.

A very central location…close to the train station, lovely restaurants and pubs. Communication with host, Mario was excellent. Fluffy towels and beautiful linens await you after a long travel day. Everything designed with the comfort of guests in mind. Would highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Art de Séjour. The build quality, furnishings and amenities of the rooms and public areas are easily the equal of the 5 star hotels we stayed at in Bologna and Berlin before we arrived in Brussels. Mario, the proprietor- who also constructed the B&B with his own hands, not only provides a delicious breakfast but dispenses useful advice on what to do (and not to do) in Brussels in an unhurried manner. Our highest possible rating, thanks Mario!

In a nutshell, this was the perfect stay and this B&B should be 5 stars! This is the first time I’ve stayed in a B&B and I can honestly say this was better than staying in a hotel (I wish I had discovered this hidden gem on my previous 2 visits to Brussels). Not to echo other reviews, but this is a case where you SHOULD believe everything that you read, as there is nothing to dislike about this wonderful place. Mario is such a welcoming, warm-hearted and genuinely lovely host who goes above and beyond to make it a perfect stay. He is the heart and soul of Art de Séjour and his personal touches and attention to detail is what makes this B&B so special. From the beautiful, spacious room, to the wonderfully decorated breakfast plates in the morning, Mario does everything to make guests feel at home. The breakfast (prepared by the accommodating Mario) is absolutely delicious and the background, calming music that eases you into your day is a nice touch. Everywhere is so clean; the room has absolutely everything you need - coffee machine, fridge with complimentary refreshments (well-needed and appreciated after a long day of exploring Brussels), amazing toiletries in the bathroom and a shower to die for). I could continue to list all the wonderful things about Art de Séjour but that would take pages. Thank you for such a wonderful stay Sir Mario!

If you are lucky enough to find this very quaint place available, look no further. Amazing stay. We didn't want to leave and if I return to Brussels I will only stay here. Owner of the B&B has meticulously maintained his huge absolutely stunning rooms and includes stocked fridge with drinks and amazing breakfast. Also, the personal touch makes this untouchable by any other large hotel. Highly recommend. 10/5 stars.

Once inside it is an excellent B&B. Rooms quiet and immaculate service friendly and impeccable. The only thing that lets it down is the location which is on the edge of a run down area you have to walk through to get from MIDI station.

Art de Sejour was a hidden gem. I have stayed in many bed and breakfast properties, and hotels around the world, and this is one of the best. It was absolutely amazing!!! Whilst the immediate environment around the property was not so pristine, it was safe and close to the centre of town and local amenities. Art de Sejour was a superb place to stay, with good food and 5-star personal undivided service by Mario. I would strongly recommend staying here and will definitely make it my number one hotel choice on future trips to Brussels.

Art de Séjour is an amazing hotel. It is stylist and fresh. The service was impeccable. The owner, Mario, was always available and greeted us with a warm welcome. He had several suggestions and spent time marking sites on the map. His recommendations for dinner and lunch were perfect. The hotel is beautiful, contemporary and peaceful. There is attention to every detail and everything you need is perfectly situated in the room. We would highly recommend. Cannot say enough positive about the space, hospitality and wonderful fresh baked croissants.

Stay here! The room was large, tastefully appointed, and very clean. The location is excellent. Mario was the consummate host, very helpful and accommodating, who struck a great balance between being personal and professional. Great value, too. I recommend this without any qualifications whatsoever!

Mario is a wonderful host! He greeted us promptly at the door when we arrived in the evening and got us settled into our room. The property is beautiful and well-located on a relatively quiet street just off Rue du Midi only a few minutes' walk from Grand Place. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and included thoughtful touches like a mini fridge stocked with complimentary soft drinks and water and a small dish of chocolate-coated almonds. The included breakfast was tasty, and Mario even had some gluten-free rolls for my mother. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully return!

The property is beautifully renovated to a very high standard. The host Mario is very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for him. His breakfasts are amazing as are the extra little touches in the room like lavender bags as well as high end toiletries. Art de Sejour is well situated with only a few minutes walk to the Grand Place, as well as having a tube station at the end of the road.

One of the best!
This is one of the nicest Bed and Breakfasts we have stayed in in Europe! Mario designed it with meticulous attention to detail. The showers are fantastic with rain shower heads. The towels are luxurious with very nice bath soaps. The beds are very comfortable down to the small bag of lavender on each pillow to help you sleep. The rooms are spacious and include a coffee machine. Mario’s breakfasts are delicious with made to order eggs and of course croissants with jams! It is conveniently located in the historic downtown within an easy walk to many sites. There is even a laundromat around the corner! We appreciate the time Mario took to acquaint us with Brussels including his own map. I heartily recommend this establishment. You won’t be sorry! Thank you, Mario, for making our trip so special! Look us up when you come to Florida!
