"Great property for a get together with friends. There’s 3 on suite rooms and a double bedroom downstairs’ with a bathroom close by, there is also a twin room which is small but a nice room, ‘BUT’ you do have to go downstairs to use the loo, as the two bedrooms upstairs are on suite. Used the Wave Spa facilities - excellent. Spotlessly clean & well maintained. Ate and drank in Zephyrs bar/restaurant - good choice of food & very generous portions and for a hotel very reasonably priced. For peace and tranquility would highly recommend a stay."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Lion Hotel the room was clean and we had a good view of the castle. The staff were polite and helpful and the Welsh breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The bay at Criccieth is lovely, calm warm water and beautiful scenery. We even saw dolphins in the distance."

"Great accommodation. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice clean rooms with comfy beds. Tasty continental breakfast available when it suits you. Useful parking and good location. Nice bar with friendly locals, restaurant not reopened yet but plenty of food options a short drive away. New owners just taken over so it'll probably get even better as they update more rooms and expand their offering. Will definitely stay there again."
