While the place is old, it was clean. You can see the age in the bathroom although greatbwater pressure. It did smell very musty but the view and proximity to the river was great. Would definitely stay again

American owned, unique in its own way, one of a kind, "CLEAN" comfortable and quiet, having the river at your back door is priceless. No pool, was the only disappointment, but I wouldn't let that stop me from staying there again.

Was very kind and helpful staff there and love the location w the back deck right on the river! Wish the pool had been up n running but literally only negative thing I can say. The room was clean ac was ice cold the bed was super comfy n soft and was so relaxing sitting in back on the rockers n watching the river flow by. We will definately be back again!

Cons: The room smelled musty. Woodwork, paint, doors, blinds all needed updated or repaired. No breakfast and internet wasn't very quick or reliable. There was only one kitchen type chair in the room. Pros: The beds were comfortable, bedding and floors were clean. It is right on the river with a back door that went out to a porch with a few chairs to watch the river. Parking was just outside the front door and no stairs to get in.

The office was locked when we got there about 7 PM. So we called the phone number and no one answered. When we ran the doorbell, someone came from the laundry room right next-door. Staff were nice and helpful. The room, on the other hand, looked like it was in the middle of a renovation. Open outlets, cracked tiles that shift if you walked on them, barely locking/closing doors, and questionable tub floor left a lot to be desired.

The back deck was really nice. The room needs some serious updates. Plumbing is unusable. One stream of water out of the shower, faucets were broken. You could not tell hot from cold and it was hard to turn the water off. No drain in the sink. No where in the bathroom to set things making it very inconvenient. Coffee pot on table but nowhere to plug it in. Had to set it on bedside table as again, nowhere in bathroom to put it. Beds were ok. One of the pillows was like a block of cement. We paid for 2 nights but left early because we couldn’t stand the thought of staying another night even though we lost money. This could be a really nice place if you just put a little money into it.

An older budget motel that's a bit rough around the edges. That said, the price is right. The facility sits right on the river, with rocking chairs on the deck facing it. We waited for about 40 minutes for someone to check us in. The bed was soft, but comfortable. The linens & towels were fine. The toiletries were questionable, with a single, damp, unwrapped bar of soap on the peeling painted bathtub. The little shampoo & hair rinse bottles were only half full. No lotion. The water just stopped flowing during one shower. The lighting was so dim that we were unable to read a map in the main room. The tap water tasted great! Several other guests smoked right outside our open windows. The staff we did encounter were gracious, apologetic & helpful in obtaining additional toilet paper & coffee packets. There were no housekeeping services during out three night stay.

We enjoyed the stay. The staff were kind and helpful. The main reason I am giving it a low rating is because the pool was not opened and looked like it had not been for awhile! This was not clearly stated before we booked. With 5 kids that was a huge let down! We would not mind staying again if the pool opens! The rooms are dated and not very fancy but that didn’t bother our stay at all!

Upon arrival the maintenance man greeted us with an apology stating that all management quit and he was trying to do everything. Rightfully so,he was frustrated. I had to help him fold towels and bath clothes for our room after waiting for him to get our room ready 30 minutes after check-in time. There was a twin sheet on our queen bed that obviously didn't fit. The AC window unit was so loud on low we couldn't even hear the TV unless it was on the highest volume. My wife and I use a C-Pap in order to sleep but there's only one receptacle near the bed. The only other receptacle is across the room. The little refrigerator works, the TV works, and the hot water was good. I can say it was only better than sleeping in a tent, at least we had a bathroom in the room. The maintenance man deserves a raise but I would never recommend anyone to stay there. I'm surprised that Expedia would even have this place as an option on your list of recommended places to stay. This place is absolutely ridiculous!
