A little gem

"We had a great stay here, lovely quiet area, we found on a last minute stay and it’s a little gem, it’s a short drive to Skegness as that was our intention for the stay however we didn’t mind that, it’s nice that they accommodated for more than 2 children in the room share as we have 3, the owners are lovely and made us feel comfortable from the get go, the only issue we had was the shower, we found the water was far to hot to shower the kids even on the lowest setting which would have been difficult if we had decided to stay longer than a night, breakfast was nice and was asked what time we preferred to have it which with 3 children it’s chaotic in the morning so it made it easier not to have to rush down "

"Such a beautiful river side hotel with a lovely little court yard as well as a bar, restaurant and coffee shop . Great choice of comfy seating either inside or on the out door terrace by the side of the river in a lovely setting with a view of the beautiful church which unfortunately wasnt open.We had breakfast and dinner which were excellent and reasonably priced too. Lovely comfy clean and spacious room with complimentary tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits.The only downside: our room was at the back and due to the very warm weather we left our window open. Unfortunately we could hear the noise of the local night club making it very difficult to sleep . Although if the window had been closed it probably woudnt have been as bad. The areas surrounding dont do the hotel justice as it has seen better days with a lot of either empty or derelict shops/ buildings which is such a shame."

Short Stay in Boston

"The property is very clean and well kept. You are given towels and you have full use of the kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. I'd like to recommend this to the owners of the property: Put a towel in the kitchen. You have to call them so they can give you a code to the key, it'd be so much convenient to maybe add a whatsapp option or even email as not everybody has a UK phone number and not everybody can communicate in English. "

"Where to start guys I am ex army I would rather be back in barracks than stay here. The cars are safe they said? Locals said watch van always getting broke into. I paid for a breakfast!!! There isn't one.. The room well you may as well sleep on the road the noise of it. And parking well you may get 2 cars in car park tops.... Dreadful area rough as toast.. You need body armour to walk round. And so called hotel is right on top of traffic lights I have stayed at some good hotels it may be great if your on parole as a half way househostel... But thats it.. It's about as rough as can be. Clean room.. Clean shower but don't venture out... Don't take car and after about 2 hrs of phoning for the combination to get your key!! I'm still awaiting management to ring back after I paid for breakfast. And refund "
