"We stayed 5 nights in a very cold and wet Zurich, but hotel room was superb and service was excellent. Breakfast ample and delicious, and hotel gave us two free evening drinks daily in return for taking "green" opt-out from room cleaning, though they still did the basics. Reception and concierge services very professional and helpful (ask about the boat trip down the Limmat included in a tram ticket!)"

"The Bellerive au Lac delivers on its classic luxury promise. Perfect location on the lake edge near the Altstadt, and near the Opera and a short walk to the Kunsthaus. History, great vibe and food in the restaurant, tastefully classic decorated rooms. Communications with the hotel through the in-room tablet is slightly odd that replaces a phone, but very effective and fast in practice. Overall, this is a great place to stay while touristing in Zürich."
