"My stay at the Moore House Inn was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived until the time I checked out, every aspect of the experience was seamless and welcoming. The inn itself is a remarkable piece of history, beautifully preserved while still providing all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. Walking through the property felt like stepping back in time, with each room and detail telling part of a larger story. What truly set this experience apart was the staff. They were attentive, engaged, and genuinely invested in making sure every guest felt at home. Their hospitality, knowledge of the property’s history, and willingness to assist with anything needed made a lasting impression. "It was wonderful if you’re looking for a budget motel with mice and a room that smells like pet urine , this is your place. Your ambience will include patched walls and ceiling and a nice finish of torn carpet. To be fair, we asked if they were pet friendly and they did accommodate us. The staff was apologetic and very helpful, I don’t think there any other options in this area, so it is what it is."

"There was quite a bit of hair in the tub around the drain when we first checked in. It was kind of icky to see that. The room itself was nice though. I'd go back when I want to visit Snowshoe, WV or the surrounding area. The property is right in the middle of the village, which is nice. Close to restaurants and shops."
