"The hotel is centrally located, has a small pool, and overall seemed clean when we arrived. One thing I did notice right away was that the garbage can near the entrance was overflowing, and trash kept falling out by the entry door, which wasn’t a great first impression.
We arrived before check-in time, and Carol at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She went out of her way to get our room ready early, which we really appreciated. When we entered the room, it looked clean and the floors had just been mopped, so we initially felt very comfortable.
Unfortunately, later that night we found two roaches wandering around the room, which immediately made us uncomfortable and honestly worried about what else might show up overnight. :-(
I didn’t complain at the time, but I did let Carol know the next morning. She was very apologetic and said she would have someone take care of it right away.
Overall, the stay was pleasant largely because of Carol and the breakfast employee, who was also incredibly sweet and helpful. But the roach situation definitely put a damper on the experience...ugh."
