The rooms were sparkling clean, spacious and the staff was polite and friendly! Would absolutely love to stay here again. We had the bay window to look over the ocean and watch the sunset and it was beautiful!!

Though the hotel looks tired in some of the outside areas it is an excellent place to stay with warm and helpful staff and good food Views are excellent Could do with a welcome pack with WiFi password etc

This is a super hotel, pleasantly decorated in a "beach hotel" theme. Fantastic situation overlooking Cullen bay. Staff exceptionally pleasant and efficient. Food excellent

One of the best hotel stays we have ever had. Simple, clean, super attentive friendly staff. This place should put on clinics for hospitality service. Absolute top notch. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Well worth a stay!

A surprise two night stay to celebrate my wifes birthday. Room had lovely views of the Moray Firth and beach. Likewise the restaurant had fantastic sea views. Good Breakfast selection and restaurant menu was excellent with good quality locally produced fresh food. The Cullen Skink to die for! A nice quiet and picturesque path leads from the hotel to the town of Cullen.

What a view

The hotel has has a bit of a makeover in the rooms and they are very good the food is amazing and the prices are a bit lower than the were on a previous stay staff were friendly and provided excellent service the only slight fault in my stay was the room curtains do not cover the window and the two large lights in the car park make it difficult to sleep with the amount of light coming into this particular room. other than that it was a great stay to be recomended to others

This hotel is looking very "tired" and the exterior could be more attractive. Although the evening menu was fine for fisheaters, most of the other options were "OK" and limited for the price charged. The shower did not work on arrival day although this was remedied within the hour (too late for our dinner booking though!) Had a memorable visit some years ago, but was slightly disappointed in the property,

Rooms very small and there was very little space around the double bed. Two senior members of staff seemed to be the only ones able to make any decisions and the young girls who made up the rest of the staff were polite and eager to help, but didn’t seem to know what to do.

Good hotel but needs to address a few issues.

The hotel is well situated and the staff were very helpful. Our room had a very comfortable bed and seemed to have been recently renovated & decorated. There was a table with two comfy chairs looking out to sea which we enjoyed. However the electrics had not been adapted fully to accommodate the renovations meaning there was only one useable socket. The plumbing in the en-suite had also not been brought up to date meaning the toilet was difficult to flush and took a long time to fill up, The door handle easily jammed too - we did report these things. Updating the ensuite and sorting out electrical sockets would make such a difference. The food was actually very good but would recommend avoiding the expensive 30 day steak, I ordered medium/rare and it came very well done. The hotel needs to tweak a few things to make what is essentially a nice place to stay into what people expect these days.
