"What a fabulous place to stay. All the little touches to make one feel special. Staff fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Love the colour schemes. All so restful and inviting. Rooms were sparkling and the food quite delicious. Dorking is very lucky to have such a wonderful place to stay/eat and relax "

"This is a lovely and peaceful hotel - the room was cleaned to a high standard, the food was really tasty, with a good menu and well presented food. I especially enjoyed the sea bass and there was a huge selection for breakfast. The staff are very polite and obliging - nothing is too much trouble. The grounds will look lovely in summer, but even in the winter they are still nice. I really recommend a stay here."

"The room was spotless and staff extremely courteous. The floors in the common areas —stone and carpets were very dirty, so a good shampoo or replacement of the carpeting is in order. The muck in the corners of the entranceway, hallways and bar was particularly problematic. The staff was amazing, as was the service and food!!"
