"The rooms had been updated but still showed signs of being an old building, which is to be expected.
The rooms could be cleaner around the baseboards, air conditioner and windows….again an older building.
The air conditioner was loud and should be updated.
Overall for what we got, it was fine."
"Good size room, comfy bed and pillows, room was clean. A little dated with plugs etc loose in the wall and the bathroom sink hard to use but overall would recommend for the area. Staff were lovely. Breakfast at $18 per person we skipped but the dining area looked lovely."
"The resort had a relaxing vibe. The gardens were beautiful. The staff very friendly and helpful. Big shout out to the gentleman where we rented paddle boards ( very personable and helpful). The music man at your pub was great and a nice place to gather with our new friends we met from a tour bus.
Rooms were very clean and the shades were appreciated ( my wife is a light sleeper so the darker the room the better, at night)
Breakfast was yummy and an amazing view of the bay.
For us non coffee drinkers, would you add a few teas in the room..please.
The local golf course was great and sooo close.
We WILL be back"
"We only stayed 1 night to start our Cabot Trail drive. The room was clean and very nice but the beds were too hard. If you have back issues, keep that in mind. The location is wonderful, unfortunately we didn't get to stay long enough to enjoy Baddeck on its own."
"Small view of water from the balcony. It was raining, so we were not able to sit on the balcony. I would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Room cleanliness was good. The staff was helpful. Parking is in the parking lot or around the building on an unpaved area. No elevator in the house for guests. We had a room on the third floor with a good view from the balcony. You will need to carry your bags up the stairs if you want to stay in the house. The room had a TV in it. I would have preferred a desk to write. The Inn does not provide breakfast, but you can pay extra for an excellent dinner in the evening in their dining lounge."
