"It was a good and quiet stay. However there was someone's contact lens stuck to the top of one of our nightstands. Other than that, it wasn't bad. Bed was comfortable and clean sheets."

"Royal Copenhagen Inn has become our go to place when we stay in Solvang twice a year. Our room is spacious and comfortable with two easy chairs and a desk. When weather is good, we sit outside on the sheltered balcony and people watch. The sheets are soft as are the four generous pillows and if you need extra towels, as I always do, they are happy to provide. Breakfast is dropped at your door every morning. Depending on what you check off, expect two hard boiled eggs(and peeled) eggs, yogurt, two cheese sticks and a large Danish pastry as well as canned orange juice and tea or coffee. I appreciate the shower includes a floor mat so you don't need to worry about it being slippery and the hair dryer does an excellent quick job. The Inn's location is perfect! Turn right, cross the street and dine at Osteria Grapolo for excellent Italian. Turn left and walk to the end of the park into Fitzpatrick's Tavern for good pub fare. Lots of good restaurants all around. For shopping a must is Fairy & Frog, where you walk into an enchanted wonderland of figurines, hair wreaths, enough rocks and crystals to stock a lapidary shop, dragon figures of all sizes, decks of affirmation cards and if you want to buy something for a child you are so, so lucky! I also enjoy Pickett Fences across and down a bit from the Inn and the newish SYV Thrift Shop at the corner of Mission and First Street, near Fitzpatrick's. It benefits local nonprofits like Meals on Wheels and is a treasure chest of finds."

"This hotel has everything you need. If you forget anything just go to the front desk they will have it. Forgot your bathing suit ? They have suits. They do their best to make sure your travel goes smooth.I would definately stay there again.."

"The inn at Zaca Creek was special. We booked room 6 to stay and visit nearby Solvang with our college-age kids. The inn has all of the modern luxury amenities you want but delivered with the feel of a rustic, ancient roadhouse. The beds were plush and the bathroom was awesome. We loved the rain shower and waking up to espresso coffee in the room. The Tavern was also special. We sat outside one night at a cushy, enclosed corner table with a gentle fire pit in the middle that was perfect for the May evening chill. We had sumptuous, aromatic cocktails, perfectly cooked, buttery local Santa Barbara cod and crème brûlée and dessert cocktails to finish. We ate early dinner at Peasants Feast (Michelin 2024) in Solvang the next day and ended the day with more delicious cocktails at the lovely bar inside the Tavern where the hospitality and attention to detail from the hosts continued to shine. This is a great place for dinner and a stay while on the road or as a base to explore Solvang. You could also have a dream wedding here. The whole place is beautiful."

"This was an amazing place other than the construction happening while I was there. They were never loud but it took away from the ambiance. "

"Bar/restaurant staff was friendly. The front desk staff can be nicer. I booked the hotel through hotels.com and there was a disdain from the front desk staff since I booked the hotel from hotels.com. The ac stopped working and the room was quite hot. I complained to them and had to relocate to another room at 2:00 AM. The inconvenience was disregarded by the front desk staff."
