"Loved how close it was. Loved how friendly and prompt the staff was (we had difficulties with our door code). Didn’t love the smell in the room. Smelled like mildew. Didn’t like that our room was NOTHING like advertised. There was no BEDROOM. It was a studio. The parking was less than ideal for units 8/9/10/11 (angled and made it difficult for anyone leaving the property). Loved the kitchenette in the room. Didn’t like the broken bathroom window (wouldn’t open) and the lack of exhaust fan in the bathroom. Also- mold on the bathroom ceiling in multiple spots. Okay for one night, but will take my chances at another hotel/motel/cabin- accommodation next time. Also- didn’t use the pool- open 10-10. Checkout was simple. No staff at the office… I don’t think ever. Texting, phone calls, and the app are the communication preferences. Also super thin walls. We rented room 9 and family rented 10. You could hear through the walls! Room 11 wasn’t being OVERLY loud, but they could be heard in room 10. And I don’t know if animals are allowed, but someone absolutely had their dog there!!"
"I rented 2 Hotel rooms based off the pictures provided. I choose Hotels over Motels for more security for my mom (78).
We were booked into a run down motel off the hotel property. This is a golfer’s delight, as when the rounds were over, the party was in the parking lot, on both sides of us. Grills, corn hole, music, fireworks and 20+ drunk men celebrating their weekend…very late into the night.
Which is cool, if that’s what I had booked. This place is gross. No phone to contact front desk, no amenities, no maid service. There were 3 tiny bottles of shampoo. No extra towels. The shower is from a men’s locker room. Thankfully I had sandals with me to wear. Spiders running about through the beat up door. No blankets, just the top comforter. My mom’s white socks are black from the floor.
The pool over at the actual hotel is under construction.
The difference between the pictures advertised and where we stayed is absolutely fraudulent.
Why didn’t we leave ? It was Purdue graduation weekend and Indy 500 time trials. The choices were slim to none.
I don’t understand how this place is getting away with this. It’s a very bad representation of Indiana Beach, & It’s not even close to the park.
This review is just the beginning of my appeals for this trip. I have pictures as I was waiting for Ashton Kutcher to shout “Punk’d!!! “."
"Pre-trip communication regarding check-in information was excellent, and the check-in process ended up being flawless. The staff, specifically Amy, was outstanding; professional, well-organized, accessible, and friendly. Will definitely be back next year!"
"I had reservations for this property well in advance of when I needed to stay. I tried for two days to get a hold of whoever I needed to get a hold of to see if I could have my boyfriend check in instead of me since he would be there earlier. Once I finally got a hold of someone, at the property, they didn’t have me down for a reservation. I kept getting emails and phone calls from a company called evolve and it appears to be some sort of scam that I was wasting my time with trying to figure this out. I spent the entire day of my only daughter‘s college graduation trying to figure this out. Clear up to 7 o’clock at night, when we’re out to dinner to celebrate… I needed to step outside for well over 30 minutes to try to find another hotel to stay at that night. I don’t know if I was ever charged from that property. I still have to look into that, but if I was, I want that money back. In addition, they need to pay for the hotel room that I had to book it last minute… Which you can imagine how expensive it would’ve been in West Lafayette, the weekend of Purdue graduation."
