"Located around 25 minutes north of the town centre, this is a clean, well-maintained hotel with easy access to the motorway. We stayed in two ground-floor rooms (3 and 4), which were comfortable and well-equipped. The shutters provided excellent blackout conditions for a great night's sleep, and the air conditioning was much appreciated during the hot weather. The beds were comfortable and linen very soft.
While dining options in the immediate area are limited, there are plenty of restaurants and cafés within walking distance in the town centre. We found the walk pleasant and felt very safe throughout our stay.
The hotel also offers secure parking, which cost £6 overnight and provided good peace of mind. The bar area was welcoming, and our children particularly enjoyed spending time on the pool table.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily return if we're visiting the area again."
"Hello! My daughter (from Sweden) and I (from Canada) had to find accommodation in Beauvais quickly due to a change in travel plans outside of our control. We chose the beautiful top floor room at La Salamandre. My daughter stayed one night, and then caught a flight from the Beauvais airport. I stayed on for several nights, recuperating energy. It was wonderful to have such a tranquil, breezy and beautiful room in a charming building. The host and staff were friendly and helpful. The location of La Salamandre is ideal -- close enough to walk to the city centre, but far enough to avoid the sounds of traffic. I loved the skylights and enjoying the view each night - it was very special."
"We weren't expecting much given it only cost €64 for our room but the room was super and the hotel quite modern with an Indian restaurant onsite at the lower level."
