"We loved our stay at Villa Lata Lama Joglo and highly recommend it! It really has to be seen to be appreciated, as the photos don't do it justice. The joglo has been refurbished and outfitted beautifully but is still very livable. "Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. "If I could give this place 100 stars I would! Ray and Honey were the best hosts - so welcoming, the best cooks and such great senses of humor. The villa exceeded all expectations and my group of 6 were beyond happy. The place is spacious, quiet, clean and absolutely beautiful. "We stayed there more than 2 weeks amd loved it so much. The place is so quiet and relaxing and perfect for family with kids. The whole vibes of the villa is very balinese. The staff are kind and responding quickly to our needs. The room is very spacious and we love it has big wardrobe which is good for long stay guests. "We had a great stay at Puri Bali Lovina! This was our first stop in Bali and so we had lower expectations. Would you call it or not knowing what to expect as far as accommodations go we have stayed at five other Villa hotels in Bali and Lovina is definitely high up there. The staff were very, very friendly and kind and very sweet. They helped us with our luggage. We got there super late (like midnight since we came right form our flight) for our check-in and they were super accommodating. Oh also, we booked a driver for the pick up from the airport to bring us to hotel. This was nice as it felt more secure. There was an extra charge for this, but it was very reasonable given that it’s almost a 3 Hour drive from the airport The breakfast was included in our package and the banana pancakes were yummy! They also helped us in booking the dolphin boat excursion and that was so so so fun! Highly recommend it. It was very very affordable. I think it was less than $15 Canadian.
Onto the hotel stay itself. We liked our room. It was relatively clean and we had to separate beds and it was a cute balcony view! It was exactly what we needed a bed and a bathroom and a toilet nothing fancy but that’s not what we needed. We also love the pool. The pool was very fun! It wasn’t super cold. I wish she was a bit colder.
Overall, I highly recommend staying at this place. Lavina itself is a very quiet, small town vibes with a pretty beach and some cute shops and massage places. I will say, tho"

"If you are coming for elephants, you are going to be very happy! There are currently 24 elephants and the opportunities for interaction are excellent. If you are coming for the opportunity to experience the ultimate in luxury, you could be a little disappointed. But you will not be disappointed in the staff! So set your expectations for elephants, and enjoy your stay! The gardening is beautiful, but the air conditioning and dining could be a little bit stronger."

"Nestled amid the lush paddy fields sits the new and architecturally standout Anantara Ubud Resort.
Firstly, I have to take time to praise the team for the exceptional service I received in particular Ms Angel.
As a frequent traveller I cannot remember a time when I have stayed at a property where ever I have been greeted with such warmth and meticulous attention to detail.
My review would be incomplete if I did not thank Pak Made for putting together a great fitness schedule for me, Yani in the Spa for the most relaxing massages and Jon’s F&B team - in particular Rastiwi for her attention every morning at breakfast.
During my stay, I was referred to as Ibu which was respectful and made me feel at home. Ms Angel and her team truly made my trip an unforgettable experience.
