"I stayed at the Springfield Drury Inn over the Memorial Day weekend 2026. I was there for the Lincoln sites, which were all amazing. I brought my 9 year old granddaughter and a friend of hers. The girls were mostly interested in the swimming pool, and after a 4 hour drive and brief visit to the Lincoln home, we headed to the hotel to swim. There were at least 10 children in the pool as there was a softball tournament that weekend. The parents were poolside, and I came to realize that lots of families know that the Drury Inn is a good place for families so the children can swim and parents can relax. There is a buffet in the late afternoon/early evening with hot dogs, nacho chips, pulled pork, coleslaw, etc. I had hoped to go out for dinner, but the girls wanted to stay and swim. Our room was very clean, and the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and I would stay here again in an instant."
"The nostalgia is heavy but the motel is only so-so. The first room I was given (king bed near the diner) the floor was sticky and there were NO light bulbs in the lamp by the bed. When I complained they gave me a room with two beds. Floor was much nicer, room felt cleaner, but the beds had only a thin blanket on them. The hallways had a persistent smell of pot -- even though the motel was non-smoking.
The young woman at the desk was helpful so I won't give it a 1 star, but I wouldn't go back."
"This was a clean and well kept hotel. I would have given it all high marks except for 2 detriments: the lack of coffee maker in the room and the dry hard biscuit with the sausage and biscuits in the morning. I do understand why hotels don't put coffee makers in the rooms but I prefer ones that do. The biscuit had probably sat too long in the warmer."
"Staff was excellent . One hard work in Jack . From bar tending to excellent breakfast the next day . The room was clean but the lobby needs an overhaul . Furniture was worn . Carpet in hallways also need to be replaced. Pool should be updated as well. The staff I give five stars ."
