"This was our first stop away from Dublin on our holiday. The owners, Dave and Laura were very welcoming. The room was very comfortable, bed a bit soft ( we love hard beds) but clean. Breakfast was delicious and delightfully they had beautiful Enya music playing while we ate. Their yard is delightful to see. Our only complaint, is that the house was cold upon arrival and was never warmed. Our room warmed very nicely. It was a dreary day. "

"Fantastic stay. we arrived late but Jeff was ready for us. Greatly appreciate everything about the hotel and the staff friendliness. We were able to see the beautiful grounds in the morning and it was fabulous. The breakfast was great and very good. Wish we had planned on being in this area longer as the place is worth the visit."

"Absolutely amazing night last night at the shepherds hut. Mary couldn’t be nicer, so friendly and welcoming. The barn is beautiful and everything is so relaxing. The grounds are truly lovely. Breakfast was amazing. Had an excellent meal in the step house hotel/pub in nearby village of Borris. Great food and very friendly staff, nice surroundings. Then we called in for a drink at Joyce’s pub just down the road. The landlord and landlady were truly wonderful - heartily recommend a visit. All in...

"This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish.
