Rolling Wave Review - owned by The Boathouse Lodge
The owner of the Boathouse Lodge asked us to meet him at the "Rolling Wave B&B" (which he also owns) We then followed him towards the Boat house lodge. He stopped down the street to notify us that we have to park here - a distance away from the location.
We walked into the location and were turned off from it right away. He mentioned that he owns the Rolling Wave B&B and that we could stay there - same price and that its better for the family. We agreed.
Parking was nice, right out the front. But unfortunately, that was the only thing that was good.
I had to pick hair, thats right, hair off the sheets that was underneath the bedspread. Clearly the bed sheets were never changed. The shower leaked out of the bathroom into the bedroom, the water was everywhere. We had to use the towels that we were for our own shower to mop up the water.
The room was so dirty. We all struggled to sleep in the room. We all considered leaving and finding another hotel. The mattress must be extremely old, as it was like sleeping in a banana, you rolled into the middle.
In the breakfast area, it wasn't cleaned. The trash bin didn't have a bag in it was was filled with trash (even though we were the only guests).
The owner was extremely nice and welcoming, unfortunately the simple things like "cleaning" have been severely overlooked.
