"The bathroom was dirty, particularly behind the bath, tile grout was also smudged along the tile walls. The management were very polite and positive about the feedback and thankful I mentioned the complaint so they can rectify it.
I have to say that although very fresh, the breakfast (included) was somewhat underwhelming compared to other breakfasts included in the price at other Hotels. 2 eggs, a piece of toast and a slice of bacon. At the very least some grilled tomato and a proper coffee (extra charge) could be included. Overall a great little Hotel with very polite staff."
"We had a lovely stay at Dormie House from 6th - 10 July. We had a room that was clean yet really small to be honest . There was no where to hang clothes, apart from two pegs to hang our coats on. That was a bit frustrating.
Also painters came in on the second day and the strong smell of enamel paint permeated into our room ...it was awful , I ended up with a terrible headache and went down to reception to see if something could be done. Gale , the receptionist, went into action immediately to sort us another room , far away from the paint smell.
The Manager put us in a beautiful room overlooking the golf course. It was very generous of him and most appreciated.
The staff are really lovely. A shout out to Gale and also an amazing young man , Cameron, who served the drinks in the bar. Very chatty and interested in you ..a lovely young man.
The only slight criticism is that I found it a quite cold building. Yes I know its winter but a but more warmth throughout would have been nice.
Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and thank everyone for making it so."
"Amazing experience. Staffs tried their best for what we asked, clean room and beautiful view. Dinner at Marilo restaurant was also satisfying. Would love to go back."
"We had a lovely stay at this old world property. Beautiful views and location. Food for dinner and breakfast was delicious. Corey in the lounge area made us feel at home and gave great recommendations for dinner in town. Thank you."
"Clean and modern room. Walking distance to all the cafes and restaurants, as well as the light house and blow hole. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the lock up garage was an added bonus."
