Kiota Inn & Event Center Sutter Creek, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"Clean, comfortable and wonderful staff. The only disappointment was the restaurant was under renovation so no dining at hotel, which it advertises it has and why I picked it. The "continental" breakfast was a little disappointing. But everything else was fabulous and I would stay there again."
"The host was excellent. Great communication and helpful. We felt well taken care of. The room was very cold and slow to warm up. When I communicated about this, she sent someone right over to check our heater and then provided a mobile heating unit which made our room nice and warm. The bed was very comfortable. The room is right on Hwy 49 so there is some road noise. "
"I’ve been staying at this property for years and it never disappoints. The walkability factor is 10/10, the proximity to wineries is great, the property is really welcoming. "
National Hotel Jackson, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
8/10 Good
"They were bought by the Hilton so they changed something’s. Bar and restaurant are open now and were very nice. No continental breakfast but we had breakfast downstairs and they give you a sizable portion. Food was good. Staff like always were very nice and our bartender. Carl made our visit even better."
"Hanford House is an inn located on Main Street (Old Highway 49) in Sutter Creek. There are a limited number of rooms on the First and Second floors (maybe six?). Not a bed-and-breakfast inn, but the Element restaurant is at the front of the structure. Breakfasts are not included in the lodging rate. We were given a $35 voucher to another cafe for the morning that the Element was closed. We stayed three nights. Our room was very quiet and we enjoyed our King bed. Shower and bath. There is no coffee machine in the room, but coffee is available in the morning in the lobby. Staff was very helpful and tidied up our room every morning. Expensive stay on weekends; a price reduction mid-week. Parking is limited and first come, first served."
"The room was clean and had pretty much all I needed. Slight issues with high road noise at times due to close proximity to the road, some issues with bugs entering the room, WiFi that was a bit slow at times, and parking right next the street was not quite big enough to park a large work truck (F-250) comfortably. Otherwise it seems all else was great. "
