"Unique property with gorgeous river views throughout. Friendly staff and nice amenities. Rooms are wonderful. With a little more modernization to the historic parts of bldg, this hotel would be outstanding!"
"The first room we checked into the air condition didn't work. The staff was very helpful trying to find us another room. It took a little bit. Breakfast was just okay could have a better selection on the coffee. The showers could be updated."
"I had a great short trip at the Holiday Inn Express in Port Huron. There was a last minute change to our reservation, and the lovely front desk associate was able to adjust our room and give us a beautiful view of the river. The hotel was recently renovated and very clean. There were little amenities in the bathroom, but very easily accessible if you call down to the front desk. Breakfast was very standard - not the best continental I've had but it was sufficient. I would stay here again!"
"Good stay for what it offers. There can be a slight smell of cigarettes but overall it's a decent stay. Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, etc. Would stay again."
"The view of the golf course was nice. And the location great for our needs. It was very expensive to us for our purpose of being close to the family home in Croswell at the time of the funeral of my husband father. No breakfast options at all made it difficult. And no microwave to go with the mini fridge. I was certain there was one on the list. For a wedding and golf venue both breakfast included or available to purchase and a microwave for at least reheating coffee ( no lobby coffee or anything) would be nice.
We asked ho gave our too. service after we added a third night. They did not do it while we were away all morning
My husband and son had to go ask again as we needed fresh towels. They gave us only 3 even though we booked for 4 adults. One person was sick and we ended up having to share towels the last day before we flew out.
The service for the guests of the hotel only was underwhelming for the cost per night. It was not busy but wasjust before the holiday week.
We will likely go back to Airbnb.
