"This was a great no-frills stay: very clean, spacious, and simple room; very friendly and helpful front-desk staff (shoutout to John and another employee — they were both great!); and an overall-safe feeling (besides one section of rooms that face the street, you had to use your hotel key to access the internal hallways). Parking on site was also included, which was a huge perk. I’d stay again!"

"Johan who checked us in is unfamiliar with the surroundings. He was not aware of the many dining options within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Also visitors should know that Venice Beach is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. We were allowed an hour extra for checkout( noon instead of 11am) but our room key stopped working at 11. There was a delay in a request for extra towels and pillows. "

"The hotel room was clean and looked as it did in the photos, however, I did not appreciate that the exterior and location of the hotel DID NOT RESEMBLE the AI generated photos depicted on Expedia. The hotel's exterior looks worn and SKETCHY in person and I would never have chosen to stay there had I known that. Expedia is shameless for engaging in this type of fraudulent practice. That was the whole point obviously -- to trick naive travelers into booking a room at this place. Next time, I'll actually Google Map a place before believing that the beautiful exterior photos of the place are real."

"Nice and close to the airport. Great size room. Very comfortable bed and a very clean hotel. Only issue I found is that the shower took close to 5 minutes before warm water came out. Maybe that's because it was 6AM. Anyway, not a big deal, I just left it running until it warmed up. Other than that though, staff were great. Bistro downstairs had some tasty food. Free shuttle was a bonus, but it was very busy and both there and back we had to wait for the 2nd shuttle. Overall I would definitely recommend."

"I really liked this place. I was a little nervous from seeing some bad reviews but I got the private room with private bathroom and the room was absolutely perfect, lots of light (beach view), really clean. The view of the beach was absolutely amazing and I am 1000% going to stay here next time I go to LA. It’s an amazing hotel and the staff were nice and friendly"
