"Quiet and comfortable stay"

"Room was super clean spacious and well set out, this is my choice of hotel in Ipswich as it’s lovely. Staff are wonderful do really go above and beyond. Brekkie is a basic buffet with vegan sausages to order. Bar area is where you check in quick and simple and nice you can get a drink no matter what time of day"

"The hotel was welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was high quality. Having on site parking was good (but expensive at £28 per night).The bed was comfortable. The only negatives were that the wardrobe hanging space was too small (it was awkward to hang clothes 'sideways on`; you could not hang a long dress in it) and there was insufficient drawer storage space."

"The welcome we received at check in was probably the best welcome ever at a hotel. Our room was squeaky clean and we had a gorgeous relaxing view over the golf course. We ate in the onsite restaurant one evening, sensibly priced and great food, again the staff were exceptional. We loved the use of the pool and its other facilities. All in all it was a fabulous stay, we hope to visit again."

"The classic room we booked was very tired and dated. The walls, especially around switchesX were marked, worn and grubby. The bathroom was especially bad, dusty, mouldy and generally needs a refurb - I felt dirty using it! The decoration, fixtures and fittings were extremely dated. The carpets were marked and stained. The hallway was like a labyrinth, and creaked loudly as other guests walked down it past the room. The outlook was a rear court yard, very minimal natural light in the room. The room doors slam loudly, so between that and the hallway our sleep was disturbed often. The bed was average, small double - bedding was clean at least. We were charged £10 extra for a bed for our 2.5 year old son to sleep in. Nobody asked us how our visit was, even on check out. The rest of the hotel looks in need of a good clean and refurb."
