"We have enjoyed our stays at The Starlight Resort over the years. It is a refurbished hotel that includes a pool, hot tub, fire pits, and what seems to be a dog park. It offers a continental breakfast in a former guest room. It is clean and well stocked. It is open from 8-10 am. The owner is friendly and helpful always has chocolates available at check in. It is about a mile & 1/2 from downtown Saugatuck. We love it there and always look for their rooms first when visiting."

"If you're looking for a place to stay that's walkable to the the restaurants and shops it is a wonderful location. David, the owner/host provided a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The breakfast that was served was hearty, including breakfast casserole, fruit and juice/coffee.The menu changes each day, but it definitely will fill you up and was delicious and made with care. The stay was comfortable and appropriate for sleeping and rest after a day of exploring."

Amazing breakfast each day and great coffee. The best bed and breakfast I have ever been to. Great location to down town area as well. A 10 out of 10 experience."

Clean, although you must accept cats walking the common area furniture and friendly dogs at your feet…which is stated clearly in the overview, so not a surprise. 100+ year old house with character, but bedroom and shower is updated. Owner Mollie is friendly and has relevant local suggestions. Breakfast fills the plate, lots of fresh fruit, an egg dish, small amount of meat…likely very healthy. Recommend J. Petter art gallery and Saugatuck Antique Pavilion. Area seems like play area for people stuck in cities who want to get away."
