"Love the aesthetics of the hotel. The rooms are quite small and the bathroom very narrow. I kept hitting my elbow in the shower wall. I don’t like how there is no coffee in the room. Biggest negative. The coffee in the lobby is €3 but it’s good. I just don’t want to shower, do hair & make up, get dressed for a cup of coffee. Everything else was great! Very clean and looks newly remodeled. The location is quiet yet close to Old Town, which was perfect since we were traveling with my 74 year old mom."

"Very small room for a great price. Old hotel (part of the charm), but clean and fairly well maintained. Only real downside (and it wasn't), it's not the place if you're looking for a quiet place to rest. The Victoria is right in the middle of the "action" part of town. It's close to the AM Main train station and many restaurants and cafes. The Main River is a shot walk away. Would stay here again if given the opportunity,"

"This hotel was the first and last hotel on our 2-week trip by train through Germany. We walked here from the Hbf and were very tired after a long flight from Canada and arrived in the lobby at 10AM. Our room would not be ready until 3PM. We sat in the lobby and must have looked a sorry sight. Our check-in person gave us a complimentary room upgrade to Premier Plus and we were in our room before noon. The room was clean and comfortable. We had to leave at 6AM to catch our ICE train to Hamburg so we did not get to enjoy breakfast."

"lovely suite with a separate sitting area, though the couch was hard as a rock (!). We didn’t use the pullout sofa so that could have been fine. The chairs in the bedroom were very comfy and the two walls of windows with blackout shades have a great view. We had drinks at the bar one night and they hosted a fun Latin night our first night but we were jet lagged and didn’t attend. Helpful with all questions we asked - and they had cucumber water at the entrance with jars of gummy bears which was fun! It was only a short 2-3 block walk from the S bahn station and lots of restaurants close by. The coffee in the room was very good and the breakfast was FANTASTIC. Would definitely stay here again."

"Nice modern hotel. Big downpoint: The AC is not efficient at all. You can set it to -3 degrees, which should cool the room down by 3K. Unfortunately "cooling" the room down from 30 to 27 does not mean, you can sleep at a decent temperature. So this hotel is a nogo for May-September."
