"A beautifully charming quiet property with equally charming owners. With a peaceful walled garden, off-street parking, complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and a DVD/ Book library to lounge in with a furry friend. A short drive to York or York Park & Ride, and many Michelin pubs in the area. I very much liked this place, and I will return."

"The house was lovely, spacious, clean and well stocked with anything you might need. It is in a tranquil village and has plentiful off-road parking. The garden has an excellent view and is so peaceful to sit in. There is a park 2 minutes down the lane, a football field, and if you continue down the lane, there is a pond and a lovely walk around it. It was perfectly located between all the walking areas I wanted to see and complete. When we arrived there was bread, milk and some treats waiting for us which was just lovely, will defo be booking again for my next walking holiday."

"Cashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way . Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery. So glad we had booked as they were turning people away ! The staff were excellent- friendly , courteous and attentive. Lovely relaxing night away , helped by the English heatwave ."
