"Wow! Just wow! It's a brand new apartment with everything you need for a short or longer stay in Shkodër. Nicely located (there is a nice bakery/café across the street) and the old downtown is only 10 minutes walking. The owners are sooo helpful and offer all the advise you need (references, suggestions, advice). I greatly recommend!! "

"The service was above and beyond expectations. My wife had an accident while hiking in Theth, and we had to come immediately back to Shkodër. The staff was so kind and accommodating, helping us with everything we needed, giving us the closest room to the elevator, service from the hotel restaurant (delicious food), ice from the bar to help with my wife’s injury, etc. I can’t say enough about how kind everyone was. On top of that all, the room was excellent, spotless clean, and very comfortable bed. Thank you Hotel Chicago!"

"Porte Alpeve is on the outskirts of Shkoder. The hotel is brand new. So new the reception staff seem surprised we were checking in. But staff were very friendly and accommodating. They lit a fire for us in the almost empty dining room fireplace. The rooms are large and have high end finishing. Unlike most places we stayed in the regions the TV gave access to streaming services. We got an exceptional sleep as the location is dead quite and the rooms are pretty much soundproof. "
