Economy Inn

Old, dated, clean and comfortable. A no frills short term place close to the interstate. The bed was comfortable and the light was good for reading. The bathroom was very small and had not electrical outlet. The picture Expedia shows is NOT the motel in question.

Nasty & Disgusting

I checked into a hotel to find it tiny and cramped. I was able to change my room, and although it was bigger, it still has that same damped, cramped feel. The bathroom was horrible, had a hole in the floor, the sink didn't work and the toilet backed up the night before check out and he didn't have a plunger. To cap it all off he refused to change my sheets after staying the night. I didn't complete my stay. I will never stay here again and I hope this place closes down.

Bates Hotel pretender!

We arrived at 10:45 in the evening to a hotel that looked all but abandoned. Upon entering the office we were instructed by means of a small sign to ring a doorbell that was installed in the top of the desk. We waited for a few minutes before ringing it again. Finally an elderly east indian gentleman came in from a back room in his pajamas looking rather annoyed for being wakened from his sleep and simply pointed to a small registration card on a clipboard when I informed him that we "had a reservation". After getting registered... upon exiting the office we were greeted by the lovely experience of watching a homeless man picking cigarette butts out of the #10 tin cans that were placed in front of each of the guest rooms. Every shelf, towel bar, and hook had been broken in the bathroom and there were stains on everything and holes in the ceiling. Amusingly enough, the two pictures above the beds were identical... except one was upside down. There was no where to find food, other than the local Safeway gas station. Only thing that could have been added to complete the scenario would have been to have been greeted by Anthony Perkins!

Old but Well Kept

Great guests and staff not a flea-bag motel at all. Only problem was the light at the door attracts too many moths. Bathroom was superbly clean. Comfortable room in old motel that has been kept up well.

OK wont stay again.

Shower was huge but no shower head so useless. Sink dripped all night, bed was hard but comfortable. Quilt was dirty, but sheets were clean. Dog barked behind hotel from 8:30-10pm. We made it through the night but would never stay again. I don't mind outdated but expect at least a working shower or a place I can wash my hair. Air conditioner could only get room to 71 which was alright, but it was only 76 outside.

a ONE star @ best!! 2 really flat pillows, air cond had to be adjusted by standing on a chair!, no electric outlets in bathroom, one lamp didn't work, furniture from "garage sale", no dead bolt on door,parking ok, shampoo was in package as little as "sweet n' low"..enough for only one person! obviously trying to milk customers & not caring about making us comfortable!! never again!!!!

A very outdated run down hotel.

Close to skiing, other than that, it was a dump. The heater was so loud you couldn't sleep, the shower was not clean, and the staff didn't make up the room for a two night stay. No clean towels or dump the trash. What a dump!!!!!

Only room left in Cadillac, MI Old, didn't look or feel clean, ants on furniture. Would not recommend to anyone and we will not stay there again.

The mattress smelled of urine and I wondered if the linens had been changed. It was late and we were traveling with a dog. They had a sign no pets, but Expedia told us it was pet friendly. The manager allowed us to stay probably because the place was a dive. We stayed here because if a misleading reservation thru Expedia, but that's another story.

Pleasant, affordable. Online showed 2 Queen size beds, but it was really 2 doubles. My husband is a big guy and needs at least a queen. Customer service says he knows online shows the inaccuracy. Disappointed.

CRAMPED, SMALL, OLD

THERE WEREN'T ANY PLUGS IN THE BATHROOM. THE TV WAS BLOCKING THE ENTIRE MIRROR. THE WALLS WERE THIN, SO HEARD PEOPLE TALKING OUTSIDE AT 2:30 A.M. AND AGAIN AT 4:30 A.M. THE LOBBY SMELLED BAD. I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.

The room was what the price gave you, the TV didn't work,the beds and pillows were hard. I has to wake up at 5am for an event,but no alarm clock,or clock period. The A/C worked and the shower had hot water. Going with anyone else, I would not stay again.

Nice Location and Nice Price ... Then it Ends

The Location was good and price was good. The Bed was hard as nails. The place was clean but dated which is ok with me. The worst thing is the heater/ac was very loud and would wake me up every 15 minutes or so when it kicked in etc... I didn't sleep very well if at all etc...

No coffee pot, no fridge, water dripped in sink most of stay, noisy pipes in walls and ceiling and rock hard beds. That about sums it up.

Not worth the money

Where do I start. The room I stayed in had only one of the room numbers on the door and that was upside down. No screen on the door. The room had not been painted in years. Everything was dirty, walls, heater covers, lamps. One wall even had toilet paper stuck in a hole to cover it up. The drop celein was coming apart. They had a min fridge that was unplugged and closed, so when I opened it smelled musty and moldy. The bathroom walls were some sort of mint green, so you really noticed the dirt on the walls. The sink was old and rusty as was the mirror. I will not stay at that hotel again or recommend it to anyone. It wasn't worth what I paid for two nights.

DISGUSTING!

Absolutely repulsive. Disgusting. Unlivable. Everything was smelly and dirty; the sheets had blood/urine stains on them that matched the mattress stains; which leads me to believe they don't wash their bedding. GROSS!!!! Don't waste your money.
