After reading sone of the reviews I was a little anxious but the place is great. The staff are very accommodating, breakfast is a treat, and the on site food would put other hotels to shame ( and well priced ). The outside pool is generous with plenty of sun and for those who like to hide, shade as well. I really have nothing to complain about and would pick the hotel again if ever I am visiting Cairns. BTW, location was great too!

I had a wonderful stay. The food was delicious, beautiful marina view, which made every moment on the balcony more enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for premium location, great food and stunning waterfront views.

Amazing views from our Horizon Club Room. Room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast and snacks in the club room were lovely. Unfortunately we were very sick while we were there and spent a lot of time in our room but what a place to feel ill, views from the bed cheered us up and the lady servicing the room was very helpful and provided us with extra water every day.

We loved the central position to everything in Cairns, plus a beautiful view. Rooms very clean and fresh. Thought the hotel was dated and the swimming pool and surrounds need updating. More lifts are needed in hotel, such a very long walk to our room from lifts. But as said, the best position in Cairns.
