It wasn't bad until the evening. They made the children get out of the pool at 7:00. They told me it was for people to have peace and quiet. Then they fired up the amplifiers to 14. They didn't have any speakers bigger than 2-in tweeters. For those who know music understand this is ear piercing. The noise that was coming from the center of the hotel. Should have shattered all the windows. To stay in such a luxurious hotel and have such horrific high-pitched screech coming from the center. Is just unheard of. I counted the people that were down there. There was more staff vendor was guest. 15 guests to be exact. And about 25 staff.

I was booked for two nights without breakfast. The hotel called me an hour before to confirm if I needed any extra assistance which was super appreciated really made me feel welcomed. I was greeted by Mr. Karim Ibrahim at the reception, he was very professional & genuinely helpful. He made the checkin process very easy, he gave me a double room upgrade & also added breakfast at no extra cost. I was then taken to my room by Ms. Sabryn one of the ladies in red (A Kempinski thing) this was the true VIP experience. I was also greeted by Ms. Ieva who told me to let her know if I need any assistance with anything. Every inch of the room was spotless, The room had a Nespresso machine (typical for every room). I tried their breakfast which was perfect had healthy options as well as your normal buffet items. The restaurants were clean and very relaxing. The vibe restaurant is open 24 hours which I made use of it on a couple of occasions. All the staff will always greet you and offer any help if you need it. The director of housekeeping Mr. Abdou greeted the next day & asked if the room was missing anything or if I need anything else. This hotel really knows the meaning of pampering and relaxing their guests. I had a small complaint which was dealt with right away and in a very professional manner. The room also had a rich fruit plate & a full sleeve of Nespresso pods (this was extra but very appreciated). I also tried their spa which is one of the best I have ever experienced.

The hotel didn’t recognize my Expedia gold status and didn’t give me any benefit! They confirmed the room availability for upgrade but refused to give it to me! Very disappointing. The reception staff needs more training!

Although this is a decent property ,this trip came with mishaps. Internet issues ,room cleanliness and quality of food was poor . I received no VIP perks. I’ve stayed in this hotel before. Maybe this trip was a one off, but not impressed this time around.

Amazing
Well, it's my habit to spend NYE on a luxury hotel and it was the last luxurious hotel in Cairo that I never been to. I am happy I was there. Great hotel and decorations , friendly stuff, great breakfast. Overall a great experience.

Absolutely must stay here!
Hands down, this was the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. I’ve travelled to 12 countries across 4 continents, and have never had a better experience. The staff was simply stellar, helpful, professional and courteous. The hotel and am entities are to die for. The breakfast buffet was world-class with choices of cuisine from around the world see pictures. Our room was huge, clean, and comfortable. Safety and security was taken seriously and was on display with vehicle checks, and a professional security detail. You simply must stay here. See pictures!!

It was my first visit to the hotel and they really surprised me with everything, we were celebrating our Anniversary so first of all we I should mention the smooth check in with the professional Mr Essam Gamal , he made everything possible to make our stay fabulous , he welcomed us and we were upgraded to a maxim suite with complimentary early check in , also Mr mohamed Mostafa was so kind and helped us with late check out although the hotel had many events , then Mr Hussein from the guest relation accompanied us from reception to our suite , he’s just amazing and his smile can really change your mood , then come the surprise with the suite that was decorated especially for our anniversary and the extremely big jacuzzi that was filled and decorated with flowers for our anniversary, not only that but after an hour the hotel send a great chocolate cake in shape of heart to our room . Actually I travel a lot and visited hundreds of hotels inside and outside Egypt , never seen hospitality and professionalism like Royal maxim kempenski , it deserve more than 5 stars , I wish I remember all the staff names to mention them because all of them are so respectful and make you feel like you are the only guest in the hotel and they are all here just for you . The staff at the executive lounge were so helpful and the variety at lunch was very good . The buffet breakfast at Royal maxim palace is another story , it would satisfy all tastes
