"A pretty amazing place. Looks very luxurious, the restaurant and the meal was super fancy and yet very reasonably priced. We couldn’t understand why the place was mostly empty, but we stayed mid-week, and the place clearly caters to Italians (even the spa menu was only in Italian). The air-conditioning in the room was not very strong and very noisy, but otherwise very nice room. "

"Inizio col descrivere l'Hoste: persona gentile e molto disponibile. La struttura: centrale, sulla piazza di Laviano (borghetto piccolissimo e isolato), pulito, nuovo, munito di ogni comfort. E' presente uno spazio comune dove c'è una cucina fornita di tutto il necessario per la prima colazione e poi ci sono le singole stanze, ognuna con bagno privato. Per chi dovesse pernottare in questo paese la consiglio senza dubbio."

"If you want a true Italian family experience then a stay at BnB La Mortella is the answer. We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour. The BnB was a bit hard to find but once we were there it was worth seeking. Antonio and his family also work the land with citrus and olive groves dominating the landscape. "The breakfast is very ample, pastries, tea and coffee there is also croissants and cereal, the hotel is fully automated and close to the main town by car or motorcycle where there are plenty of eating and shopping options"

"This is a great hotel to choose if you have a vehicle. Only 15 minutes from Salerno in a beautiful mountain setting. The hotel has a beautiful pool area and large peaceful pool. The rooms are huge."
