The hotel’s location is unbeatable – right on Praia da Rocha beach, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic and easy access to the vibrant beachfront promenade. It’s the perfect base for exploring Portimão and the wider Algarve region. Our room was immaculately clean, modern, and stylishly decorated, with a spacious balcony and comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, which was varied and delicious, featuring everything from fresh fruit and pastries to made-to-order eggs. The outdoor pool area was well-maintained and never too crowded, and the hotel spa offered a fantastic range of treatments – perfect for a bit of pampering. "This is our 8th stay at Aqualuz since 2009 and we obviously love coming back as it ticks all the boxes for us. We started coming as a couple and now as a family of 4. For the second year running we were greeted by Emmanuel at reception who is extremely friendly and helpful along with others within the team who are all accommodating. The location is great along with the food at the hotel. See you next year! "
