"After leaving another property after sleepless nights, I checked into Hampton Inn South. I met Jacky at the front desk, who was awesome. He made sure I had a nicer room than the one I was originally assigned. He was so kind! The stay was delightful--so much so that my fiancé and I extended our stay an extra night. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone exploring Owensboro and looking for an alternative to the downtown district (which is also lovely!)."

"The property was nice enough. The lobby was nice, the staff were friendly. However, the room had a distinct, unpleasant odor. I thought it would dissipate as the stay lingered. Alas, it did not. The toilet ran all night even after inspection and jiggling the handle on multiple occasions. After Night 2 of a three-night reservation, I couldn't take the lack of sleep and odor. I checked out and left for another property. The front desk didn't ask why I was cutting my reservation short or if everything was okay; they were too busy informing me that I would not be getting a refund even though I didn't ask for one. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and is a low-price room. Still, the old adage rings true: You get what you pay for."

"Absolutely dirty couldn’t even walk across the floor without our feet turning black, the air vent was brown from dirt buildup, the shower didn’t get hot, the “heated pool” was so cold my kids couldn’t even swim which is what we came for, I’m so appalled by the upkeep of this property it was disgusting to say the least and I’ll never return! Complete waste of money and my so sons birthday was ruined!"
