"I was given a room on the second floor that was a mishmash of 4 different rooms--one with 2 nonmatching couches off to the right of the entry w/ an overhead light, you entered into the bedroom--no telephone, no coffee maker though I had 1 coffee cup, ice bucket, but no cups, the other room was a closet. I had one hand towel, I wash cloth and 1 bath towel. The tub had no anti slip treatment to it, so I could not take real bath or shower, I "bathed at the side of tub using the ice bucket to wash and rinse my hair, cleaning my legs by soaking my feet in bath water and a personal scrubber. I used the bath water and scrubber to clean the rest of my body. It was not a pleasant stay."

"The grounds are very pleasant, I mean you have a lake! But desk staff and especially the fake redhead at the coffee shop were less than convincingly friendly. The young barista with the hair dye job was talking with the other girl(cashier), walked past me, never once looked at me while she placed my drink on the counter right in front of me. Continued walking past, while still conversing with her co-worker, I looked up at my drink, she turned partly around to look at me through her peripheral and condescendingly stated “that’s it” referring to my order and turned back to her conversation with the very nice cashier. This demonstrated perfectly that the newer generation believes the customer exists solely as an opportunity to assist them in reaching their dream of holding a degree in art appreciation or as a practice instrument in sharpening their disdain of a capitalist society. In any case, who ever hired this angry superior creature full of arrogant ignorance should have explained that in a service industry there is an element of effort that is to be exerted in positive engagement with the customer. I was always taught if giving a criticism offer a solution. So here it is. Pay your college age staff enough that you get an over abundance of applicants. With a better choice of applicants. Because when you hire out of desperation you get people like that pretentious creature that although she made a great cup of coffee will remain the most bitter I’ve ever had!"

"The outside of the hotel was great, staff was great, my room was horrible. I checked in with my family, kids and wife and as soon as we stepped in we wanted to leave. Actually we did leave. The floor had blood stains, one of our queen beds had a huge yellow circled stain the size of a basketball, the bathroom floor was stained with brown and red smears, the bathtub and drain was full of hair, and the toilet seat had pee stains. Also, one of the walls had holes and to make it all better it smelled like cheese. Super super dirty hotel room I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. So, my family waited for me while I went to Target to buy things we needed and left and drove back to AZ. It was that bad. I checked in around 9:10 pm and we left around 10:10 pm. This hotel is not recommended for anyone."

"Family friendly four star hotel with five star staff and service. We were a family of five staying in the one bedroom with sofa bed and our numerous requests were met promptly and with smiles. Everyone said the breakfast was best ever and my grandsons loved the make your own waffles. Great pool, great games, and great location."

"Pro: close to shopping centers, nice pool, really easy texting service for maintenance of questions, super comfortable bed and pillows, nice kitchen area (minimal things in there though) and very nice staff. Quick check in. Nice decor and wall paper/not dated except carpet. Neutral or con: hallway can be a bit louder at times, carpet is a bit out dated."

"I was disappointed with this hotel. Expedia showed a 9+ rating, but my experience did not match that at all. The bathroom was extremely small and did not include basic toiletries such as body lotion. The shower was very noisy, and there was hardly any space to move—my hands kept touching the shower curtain. The carpet did not feel clean, which made the room feel uncomfortable overall. The TV was quite small and poorly positioned, making it difficult to watch comfortably. The location seems good, but I did not get a chance to explore the surrounding area."
