"It was an amazing property with a lot of character. It certainly had the country charm and warmth in it. If that’s what you are looking for, you will not go wrong. The host and owner Gregoire was very friendly and gave us some helpful tips that we used for our one day French Riviera tour. The property can use some upgrades especially the flooring and temperature control. All in all we had a great time and would highly recommend it. "

"We had a wonderful stay in Martin's Villa. He is an exceptional host. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and well decorated with thoughtful touches. Our room had excellent air conditioning too and a really good shower. There was also a fridge and safe in the room. The location is perfect for exploring Vence. "Enjoyed our second stay at this quaint hotel. The proprietor went out of his way to ensure all of our needs were met. The hotel like many in the area of a certain age, has no air conditioning but we were comfortable at night with a fan. Our room boasted a little terrace and while simple the bed was comfortable and the ironed sheets a treat. Breakfast consisted of coffee, croissants, and juice. The flakey chocolate croissant will be missed. A glimpse of yester year at this historic charmer."

"My husband and I stayed here for our first 3 nights of our cross country road trip. It took us a full 24 hours to get to Nice from Alaska, and all we wanted was some time to relax, decompress, and adjust. Villa Louise-Rose was beyond perfect. It’s cute and quite, it has a nice back yard with a pool that backs up to the river, and is in a great location. It’s like a 5 minute walk to everything. Guillaume is an amazing host. "Although it was clearly mailed before our trip, the inflexibility about check in (ONLY between 2 and 3 pm) was not appreciated. We got there a bit early and we were not admitted to the property even too rest and/or have a cup of coffee while waiting No fridge in the room and they will not let you use any other fridge on the property. "The pool and sauna hours for the hotel were relatively long so that was helpful because after a day out, you can use them. The sauna was well maintained and even included a shower. The hotel staff were helpful but had very short working hours so always had to wait full day to ask a question if anything happened in the evening. Overall very good experience, highly recommend if you're driving, if not its a bit hard in terms of accessibility as public transport services to the hotel finish by half...
