"Having stayed here before, I do feel the property is going downhill. Parked in the car park at the back and the feeling wasn't great. Park full of rubbish, the doors to get into the property were damaged and didn't close properly, making the property feel very unsafe and the carpets filthy. Go up to the flat, where I was presented with a dirty and messy flat, all the lights on and windows fully open. With it being ground-floor, anyone could have easily got into the unit. "The flat itself was very good. A great location, big and airy, a bit shabby chic but nice. The service from the local agent (PlumLocations) was terrible. We confirmed availability of, booked, and paid in advance for a late check-out but they unilaterally cancelled at short notice, without offering any mitigation such as somewhere to store our suitcases and hence leaving us nursing bulky suitcases for a couple of hours. Pretty shabby customer service."

"AVOID. Difficult to know where to start. This apartment was mis-sold, as it is student accommodation (10 bedrooms per flat). Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. "Room is fine and in great location to go out on the barbican. We had a big issue with checking in, was given the code for the wrong room and went into someone elses room with their stuff still in there. Charged a deposit which wasnt specified until after booking. Only one of the windows opened and too warm to sleep properly. Room could do with a fan. "
