We love son caliu, we stay here every year, and we meet a lot of returning guests when we stay. The hotel and amenities are fantastic. The beach and jetty very clean and picturesque, pool area in garden lovely and a beautiful spa with gardens. The food is amazing and all the staff amazing. We have stayed in the hotel, lovely, this time we stayed in an apartment, lovely and big with nice large balcony, really enjoyed our stay,see you next year.

The perfect stay

There's always something not so great about the places you stay, but this time I can say there was nothing bad. The hotel is super chic, luxurious, and classy. The staff was friendly and very professional. The pool and private beach are beautiful. The restaurant's food is delicious. The entire hotel staff was very friendly and willing to guide us and assist us with anything we needed. In our case, we were three girls on a friend's trip, and the apartment was perfect. We had plenty of space, and the kitchen was ideal. The area was tranquil and safe. We had access to the supermarket and other stores within an eight-minute walk. Overall, everything was perfect, and I hope to return soon!

Lovely oasis of calm- beach on the doorstep. Lovely reception and hotel area. We stayed in the apartments which are just down the street. Apartments are in good condition with great views. Breakfast was fabulous and restaurant overlooks pool and beach.

Our apartment was perfect for our 5 days. Lovely balcony with great sea view! Comfortable, beachy decor added to a relaxing vibe. Close to many restaurants, a Mercado, pharmacy, easy to get taxis & tour/excursion hotel pick-ups from main street bus stop. Daily maid service. Loved every minute!

Incredible place for a staycation. I stayed for 2 weeks. The room was beautiful, comfortable, functional. Had everything I needed. Amazing location with the beach/dock and coast front and easy access to walk the cliff. Close proximity to the grocery store and some local restaurants. Clean, safe, and quiet. What a beautiful place to stay!!!!! I wish I could live here. Will definitely be returning soon.

The apartment was clean with amazing views- The hotel was fabulous- we had access to all areas- Didn’t realise until day four that there was a rooftop pool!The dining was very good- very good quality & beautifully laid out- We were there 10 days & it wasn’t repetitive- Carmen on reception was friendly & caring.Our cleaning ladies were efficient & friendly Couple of negatives- After a delayed flight arrived at the Apartments at 10.15pm no one around- We were unaware we had to check in at the hotel - 3/4 minutes walk along the road- reception gave us key’s & minimum information- No one to accompany us to apartment. Towels were clean but old- grey/hard Dinner we felt a little pressured to order drinks- we ordered water, 3.40e per bottle We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again & hope the negatives come across as constructive

Cockroach party

The apartment was really nice, view was amazing it was reasonably comfortable except for the cockroaches. I phoned reception and told them that I had 3 cockroaches and they kindly said that they would send someone to sort the issue. That night (1am) as I slept something landed on my head I hit it off and sat up to find a cockroach in bed with me 😬 I videoed it so I could show reception the next day. I turned on all the lights and went and sat on the couch for the rest of the night. The next day I went and spoke in person to a very nice gentleman at reception and he couldn’t apologise enough and send he would send someone out immediately to sort it which he did but I couldn’t rest, I couldn’t sleep and I had the lights on all night every night, they were fully booked so I couldn’t move apartments but also my elderly parents were staying next door (they had no problems) and I needed to stay close by. So for 8 nights out of the 10 I stayed I hardly slept 😢 Apart from that the apartment was lovely and cleaned every day. This was my second time staying at Son Caliu apartments but sadly I don’t want to return.
