"A Truly Enchanting Stay at Il Borro I recently spent three unforgettable days at Il Borro, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. The property is immaculately maintained and offers a perfect balance of luxury and authenticity. We stayed in a spacious villa that offered both comfort and charm—an ideal setting for relaxation. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, always going the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. One of the highlights was the food. The pizza was some of the best we've ever had, and the overall dining experience was fantastic, especially when paired with Il Borro’s impressive selection of wines. The wine tour was both informative and enjoyable, giving us a deeper appreciation for the estate’s rich winemaking heritage. The spa experience was another standout—peaceful, professional, and just what we needed to unwind. Every aspect of our stay felt carefully curated and indulgent. We’re already planning to return, hopefully for a longer stay next time. Il Borro is a true gem in the heart of Tuscany, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and luxurious escape. "Wish we could have extended our stay here!! We only spent one night here and if I could re-plan my trip I would have spent at least another night (or longer if time allowed). The resort is amazing and the property is stunning! It offered amenities that we sadly didn’t have time to explore. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The food was local and tasted wonderful! The wine was fantastic! The pool was beautiful (and cold but this was welcome on a hot day!). My only criticism is that check out was a bit early, at 10am. I don’t think 10am is that early but in our case we didn’t check in until 7:30pm the night before so it would have been nice to have a bit more time. In saying that, we were allowed to use the pool after check out, so this was a bonus! The staff were so friendly and they really made you feel welcome. "

"The most beautiful and magical place on earth. We video called every family member back home in Canada while at the hotel to show them the grounds. The hotel is nothing short of amazing. From the pools, to the gardens, doves, chicken, tennis courts, the walking paths and even an equestrian center. I am so sad that we did not have more time to spend there. 100+ recommend this property. My husband and I went for a before dinner drinks and the waiter brought us bread and oil and picked us fresh strawberries from the garden. Absolutely in love with this place and no hotel along our journey if Italy has compared. "

"My fiancé and I decided to stay here for our Italy trip. We were absolutely blown away by this bed and breakfast. Not only was the place beautiful, but the family running it were amazing, very welcoming and accommodating! We so wish that could've stayed longer... This was the best part of our trip. Food was absolutely the best and they make their own olive oil. Please stay here and enjoy!"

"A Fascinating and perhaps haunted hotel off the beaten track. You will drive through the beautiful mountains to get there and it’s located in the shadow of an ancient Abby. The staff is lovely, the food at the in-house restaurant is great. And definitely get a bottle of the house red (it’s amazing). You will not be sorry you made this journey. "

"Lovely stay with beautiful breakfast. The restaurant was booked out when we stayed which wasn’t great because there was nowhere else to eat in the town. Free and easy parking! "
