"The stay was good as the beds were very firm and pillows were well used and flat. Plus the linens on beds were stained or not changed as there was evidence of some type of fluids on pillow cases"
"After arriving late at night and going to sleep, I woke up and realized the bed I was sleeping in was filthy. The shower did not work and the bathroom vanity was unfinished. I packed my things back up and checked out being told I would be refunded. No response when I reached out twice in the Expedia app. I called the hotel and was again told I would be refunded. This was 3 weeks ago and no refund. This place is just awful."
"The hotel was fine. Working with hotel .com is a nightmare. I didn’t receive a confirmation E-mail or a text from Hotels.com after booking. I could not get this resolved. With much much effort I was able to get in touch with the hotel Days inn. I asked if I had a reservation. They said no, but if you tried through Hotels. Com, Days Inn would not know about that reservation, oh crap!! I decided to reserve a room with Days Inn while I could. I was in Charleston for the State high School track meet. So, I have a reservation. My wife decided while we were driving 3.5 hours to the track meet, to attempt to check on the one reservation that was in question. Through MUCH calling and distress we were able to speak to someone. They said we could cancel that room. Great!, NOT SO GREAT!
My wife asked what room was cancelled they told me that the room I just booked 15 minutes ago, was canceled. SOOOOO, we called the hotel back and they said yes, that room was cancelled. We said no, we did not want that room cancelled. By that time, 15 minutes, they had cancelled my room and it was not available now. AND we would need to pay for that room even though they turn it over in 15 minutes. This is not going well!!!!! We disagreed with that decision and eventually revived a very nice lady at the hotel said she would send us a voucher for a one night stay but they were full. We are now over half way to Charleston and don’t have a room. Sorry, I have run out of words. The story is not over"
"We enjoyed our stay. Peaceful. We didn't hear any other guests and thought we were the only ones there until we saw a couple in the central area. Little extras were nice (candy, snacks, water, coffee). Did not see any staff after our initial check-in but they were very helpful when we arrived."
