"The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Everything was great except for how
Noisy the AC unit was. I know these units make some racket and usually doesn’t bother me, but in this case, the noise was excessive and sounded like several birds chirping inside the unit. It was a loud squeaky noise. It made it impossible to sleep with the AC on. Luckily, it was cool outside, so I just turned it off. All in all I really like the room and the hotel in Gen. I really appreciated the fact that they had an elevator. The free breakfast was really nice as well. They had eggs and biscuits and gravy, instead of just cereal and pastries like most places. We’re definitely stay here again, even with the noisy AC unit."
"This is a nice spot to rest, relax, take a dip in the pool and grab a hot breakfast on your way out in the morning, but that is not what will be bringing me back, it’s the amazing staff!!
Two honorable mentions : Michael is an absolute joy! His awesome personality, kindness and amazing recommendations were top notch! And Bree, super sweet girl, extremely helpful and also recommended a great restaurant! (I didn’t get everyone’s names but they were all wonderful. The housekeepers were kind and helpful and the property appeared to be well maintained so good job maintenance too!)
I am definitely booking again, a great stay in a great town, awesome people and good food! Win win (oh AND AFFORDABLE!) win win win"
"Our room was nice. The shower was very good. There are not many tv stations worth watching. We didn’t partake of the breakfast. We knew it was a continental when we booked and that was ok. We went to Wendy’s instead."
"Location was great, plenty to do in the area. Staff was overall friendly and I swear we saw them cleaning at all times. However we had an issue with our toilet being clogged and upon speaking to the front desk attendant at the time, he handed us a plunger. While I don't mind doing the job, I feel like that's not what guests should be doing. Other than that, we really had no issues with our short stay. "
