"I recently stayed at the Glengarriff Park Hotel and was genuinely impressed by every aspect of this charming, family-run establishment. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this hotel prides itself on offering not just comfort, but a heartfelt experience.
Nestled right in the heart of Glengarriff, the hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance of all the local attractions. Whether you’re heading to the stunning Blue Pool, exploring the Bamboo Park, or catching the ferry to Garnish Island. Everything is just a short stroll away, making it an ideal base for discovering the beauty of West Cork.
The in-house restaurant and bar are a real highlight. The food was consistently excellent, with a menu that balances hearty Irish classics and more refined options. The bar has a warm, welcoming vibe, perfect for winding down after a day of exploring.
What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Their kindness and dedication are second to none. When I asked about shoe polishing available, they discovered it wasn’t available locally and then drove to the next town to get it for me. That level of care and attention is rare and speaks volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction.
If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, convenience, and genuine Irish hospitality, the Glengarriff Park Hotel is a standout choice. I’ll absolutely be returning and recommending it to anyone heading to this magical corner of Ireland.

"We stayed here for one night for a family meeting, and everything was fantastic from start to finish. The location is ideal—just a short walk from Glengarriff town—but still peaceful and scenic.
The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and the service was excellent. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a long day.
Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a highlight: delicious food, generous portions, and great local ingredients. Breakfast the next morning was just as good, with plenty of choice for all ages.
Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a convenient, warm, and high-quality place to stay near Glengarriff. We’ll be back! "
"A total gem of a find! Idyllic location. Wonderful staff. Walkable to the village. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely make plans to visit again. I want to check out the seaweed baths!"
"My wife and I stayed for 7 days. 10/10- would recommend to a friend- will be back! Our hosts, Trish & Chris, were absolutely stellar. They are both kind, friendly, knowledgeable, salt of the Earth people, and excellent cooks! The breakfasts were customized to our needs and desires and were scrumptious! The setting is divine- so quiet, surrounded by nature, and truly beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There was, however, no in-room mini fridge! Having travelled extensively across 5 continents, this was the first time I had experienced this omission in a hotel or B&B. We bought a cooler in town, and ice to keep our drinks cold. The beds are quite new. They are very firm, which is ideal for back-and-tummy sleepers. If you are a side sleeper, you may want to order a memory foam mattress topper Amazon delivery in advance, or be creative with pillows to ensure proper spinal alignment. Or just plan for an extra 10 minutes in your morning routine to do some yoga and stretching. Also, be aware that not all rooms have a bath tub, so if you are the type of person who likes a nice soak in a warm tub after a long day of flying/driving, be sure to request a room with a bathtub in advance. Our shower was lovely though and the water pressure is good and strong. In Ireland and the UK, it is unusual for lodgings to supply facecloths (aka flannels). Pack your own, or you can pick one up at a shop in town. Sneem has many shops and several dining options. Kerry is stunning! Do go!"
