"The ataff was very nice. They don't have an elevator for guest. The breakfast wasnt very good the exact. It was okay but by the 2nd morning we went to the Texas Grill close by and continued going there for breakfast the next 3 days of our stay. The floors were wavy on the 2nd level and there was a musty smell that permeated the entire place. I wouldn't stay again on a return trip."

One of the fire alarms was beeping due to a low battery when we arrived, it was late at night so I messaged the team. The maintenance team arrived first thing in the morning to change the batteries and we didn’t have any more issues throughout our stay. Very happy with the response time."

"I know this place looks rough. It really was not that bad. The rooms while dated, were clean. The staff was attentive and helpful. It is a short walk to a convenience store, WalMart, etc. Also about a 10-15 minute walk straight to downtown Bastrop. I was nervous about staying here but had no issues. Is it the nicest place in the world, of course not, but it will do and is convenient to a lot of things. PS. The pool while there has not been used in years (from what it looks like). Sorry, no pool."
