AVA Resort Cancun - All Inclusive

"We were traveling with family and kids. This resort is both exceptionally large (inside) and can feel small (family pool is really only swim option). The water park is geared toward younger kids. There is north and south wing of the building that is approx a kilometer in length. Our room was in the north end of the north building so walking to the main breakfast buffet can get your daily steps in. Our room was spacious enough. The beds were exceptionally soft. All rooms are ocean facing and a tub on the balcony but with the seaweed smell we didn’t spend any time on the balcony. There are lots of was to spend more money. The arcade cost us a lot of money with the kids. We also did the F1 simulator, bowling and batting cages which were also extra. There is a golf sim as well. There is a kids club that targets younger kids and a teen club for older which leaves 10 year olds a bit lost. The staff inside most restaurants was good but the family poolside staff was exceptional. The kids found that all of the evening activities were indoors and wishes there more outside. We’ve traveled to Cancun multiple times and while we enjoyed ourselves this resort doesn’t rank as a must return for us."

"Rooms were just okay nothing out of the ordinary, they do need some updates. Staff was friendly and food was a 3 out of 5. Has two pools and a kiddy section which is nice for smaller children."

"The room was clean and the balcony was view was beautiful. The beach had a lot of seaweed and the odor was bad. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There’s too many sales people on the beach, it was hard to relax and when checking out of the hotel more sales people. Trying to sell you another vacation."

"I recently stayed at Royalton CHIC Cancun with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday, and we had an incredible time from start to finish. The atmosphere at the resort is unmatched! There was always something going on—from the DJs and pool parties to the nightly entertainment. The energy was fun, vibrant, and perfect for an adults-only getaway. The entertainment team did an outstanding job keeping guests engaged throughout the day, and the evening shows were just as enjoyable. If you’re looking for a resort with great vibes and plenty of activities, this is definitely the place. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They truly made us feel valued throughout our stay. The food was also very good. We enjoyed several of the specialty restaurants, and there were plenty of options to satisfy everyone in our group. The drinks were well made, and the bartenders kept the good times flowing. The beach was beautiful, the pools were clean, and the overall property was well maintained. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Royalton CHIC Cancun to anyone looking for a fun vacation with friends, couples, or anyone who enjoys a lively atmosphere. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so memorable. We can’t wait to come back!"

"The resort is beautiful, and the staff is friendly. The food at the buffet is OK. The best restaurant food was the one I had on the beach that was casual dining provided the most authentic style Mexican food. I was disappointed with the “” Mexican restaurant, as I thought it was not authentic, and the food was not good."
