"A very nice place to stay as a base whilst visiting around the beautiful island. Its not far from Funchal by BOLT taxi service and close to airport too, so not difficult to travel to the main centre."
"Hébergement bien situé et tenu par une personne très agréable et dynamique. Piscine très agréable et vue exceptionnelle.
Néanmoins, l’ensemble est vieillissant : literie décevante, peu de vaisselle , moquettes tachées et usées."
"Nice, quiet place. Do not need aircondition in October as we were. Only two single beds option. Good transportation, close to highway. Layout of apartament very nice. Yes, I recomend this place."
"Small but perfectly formed
Everything you need for a stay of one week
Staff were excellent
Location excellent
Weather also good
Marathon runners were great"
"The property is well kept, pool area very nice, breakfast was great but the best part is all the staff so friendly and helpful really enjoyed our stay"
"I really like this place very quiet and you have everything you need to stay comfortable i would stay here again in the future highly recommended ..."
"We were very impressed with this budget hotel. The amenities were basic but perfectly adequate and value for money. The location was ideal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For the price we would certainly recommend this hotel. "
"Quiet area, close to lots of restaurants and shops and cultural events. The outdoor patio area was lovely. Showing some signs of wear on the curtains and carpet - probably time to upgrade/replace. It was a perfect little setup up for us."

"Lovely room with two bedrooms which gave us all enough space, including the huge private outdoor space. Breakfast buffet was great, only niggle was the fact there were too few umbrellas for the loungers by the pool, which was a shame as there were as no mad dash for loungers and enough to go around. Access to the sauna and steam room were a great bonus, plenty of places to eat out within a 10 minute walk from the hotel,"
"This was a perfect location for a stay in Madiera. Nice view, free parking, and all the amenities anyone could want in the room. So many thoughtful extras like wine, bottled water, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, washing machine and drying rack, etc. I would definitely stay again. "
"Wonderfull hotel with amazing garden. Nice staff. Clean. Very good breakfast. We were not that impressed with the dinners we had on the hotel, we prefered the other restaruants just outside the hotel instead. Be prepared for many stairs and some steep pathways, as the rest of the island. "
"No parking in the resort, only 7 minutes away walking uphill, most uncomfortable with suitcases even if you dropped off the suitcases you would still need to walk the distance and pay.
I dislike separate beds in a couples room
Tough toilet paper
No shampoo conditioner supplied, only a kind of soap
1 small chocolate bar in the room, for 2.5 euros, not fun or enough
Receptionist quite unkind, makes no effort to be kind or friendly "
"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right at the ocean front with excellent food, coffee in walking distance. There is paid parking close by butbwe weee able to park free in the hotel parking lot. The lot is small so we may have been lucky."
